my uncle lived in paris texas for a while. seemed like a nice, but boring, community.

also you missed the best part of the town.

Last time I was in Paris Texas for work (6ish years ago) it was dry. You had to sign up for some type of membership card to buy a beer at a restaurant. I'd still choose Paris Texas, but its down the list of places in the US I'd live.

Incredible cuisine & architecture.

Best wine in the world close by.

Fashion capital of the world (for the women, unless your woman shops at Wal Mart)

Short plane ride from CDG to anywhere in Europe.

Incredible museums and art.

Paris TX is a really cool little town. if i had to live in TX, that area would be 2nd only to the Hill Country near Kerrville/Fredricksburg
