re: COVID Tests and International Travel - TheIndulger
retty sure that will work. I haven't been to San Pedro Sula since 1999 -- what brings you there?
Heading to Utila to take diving lessons and then meeting with my Honduran buddy in Roatan for a few days. I've been to Tegus but not SAP-I know it's been a while but anything worth se...
Abbott ID NOW is a 15 minute turn around time test. With a comparable speed, antigen tests have demonstrated sensitivity of only 80%. The ID NOW molecular NAAT test gives results in the same time frame, but with a sensitivity score of 95% and specificity of 97.9%!
I know, it's like...

re: COVID Tests and International Travel - TheIndulger
Thanks, I’m on it. They don’t let you fill it out until 48 hours before travel. I saw the requirements for honduras. PCR, antigen or antibodies test. I just didn’t know which one the IDNOW Walgreens test I’m taking is. It has to fall in one of those categories right?...

COVID Tests and International Travel - TheIndulger
I’m traveling to Honduras Saturday via Delta from Atlanta to San Pedro Sula. Delta says the travel requirement for Honduras is a RT-PCR, Antigen, or Antibodies rapid test taken within 72 hours of plane departure. I scheduled a test at Walgreens today for a rapid test. Walgreens’ description of th...
Serbia has been vaccinating like crazy with Chinese and Russian vaccine from what I've read so if they are even average effective they will be good. Not sure about North Macedonia at all. I think Albania is pretty open for entry. A lot of these places still have 10pm ish closing but if yo...
OVID spikes came through starting in March and are starting the draw down right now. That will take a few weeks. June should be OK for what you want to do. Later is better as the spike subsides and vaccination picks up.
What do you think about visiting the eastern euro countries l...

Looking to spend the entire month of June in Europe—somewhere, anywhere  Do we have any clarity on what the best bet is? I know Greece is welcoming tourists. Even being able to spend time on the coast and enjoy outdoor dining and sightseeing would be great. ...

re: US warns against travel to 80% of world due to coronavirus - TheIndulger
No one is listening to this advice. I'm vaccinated and moving my life forward. And I don't think it's a ruiner at all. Even during the heights of COVID I had a good time (Lake Tahoe). Masks suck, but don't head somewhere like a major city that's indoor dependent. Off to Croatia this summer. S...
Trader Joe's may be those things, but they have stood up to the PC/coronabros a lot in the last year
Correct, Trader Joe’s is not a “soy boy” company, they are actually rational and logical on what they stand for, but both left/right extremists can’t see that...
