I'm gonna go ahead and say that saving $100/m on your electric bill by using a $70k car has an ROI of 58 years. That's if the car and battery last 58 years.
What’s the ROI on your car?

It’s full of liberals. Liberals are miserable people. Was just in Austin for work and noticed no one is friendly
It’s always people who don’t live in an area that talk about how awful it is. You see some political signs, someone doesn’t wave at you and then you label it a liberal hell hole of miserable people
Austin is full of friendly people.

Some places will give a cash discount that amounts to more than credit card rewards points

If I wanted to prove that the world is a pretty good place, I’d take the safest route too. Basically I’d avoid the ME and Africa as a whole
Sure they took the safest route because they aren’t complete dumbasses. But if you ask the average American they would tell you that you are as good as dead if you hitchhike through thru Turkey and Russia
Hitchiking is actually a common way of traveling out there. I went to Kyrgyzstan once and lots of people hitchiked to get around, even locals.
I also know a buddy who rode his bicycle from the US all the way to Argentina and never encountered any problems at all.

I read something about Golden Gate Bridge jumpers. Apparently around 2% of them survive, and the ones that survive said they immediately regretted jumping
