Paris, France is one of the dirtiest and shittiest I’ve been too. It’s like New Orleans with some fancy museums.

Texas.

More personal freedom, lower cost of living, more green space, fewer rude people.

Are you even serious with this question?

One of the cities is one of the most amazing cities in the world, the other is in France.

I worked with a Bank in Paris, TX, and the bank president took me to lunch at a little restaurant in town, and while we were eating Gene Stallings walks in, and walks up to the bank guy and greets him. the Bank President asked if I knew who Gene was, and I reply any self respecting SEC fan knew who Gene Stallings was, and shook his hand.

Gene asked if I was a Bama fan, and I said no sir - I respect you and your success, but i am an Auburn fan. he chuckled and said well, we all make mistakes.

was a really cool moment.

Home of Hunt Brother's pizza

Stoplight was invented there, odd as now traffic is not much

Bibb lettuce was invented there

True story but the city is not as nice as it used to be. Loss of 3 key eateries and never the same.

The place on the corner downtown (where you got the BEST cobblers)

The place downtown that still served beaten biscuits (and home made from the family recipe)

The place a block or so off Main Street where all the horse folks ate (very American as both workers and owners) that was torn down and just gravel lot now.

Frankly I prefer Paris, Texas. I think it was Harry Dean Anderson's best role. I always choke up when I watch the end scene with him on top of the downtown Houston parking garage looking into the hotel.
