re: Helicopter tour that lands in Kalapatthar

I’ve done the base camp trek and been to kalapatthar. The altitude is no joke and that’s with us doing the trek and being acclimatized, I’m sure it’s a very short stay on the mountain
re: I don’t have any problem with overspending

It’s only overspending if we aren’t winning. If we are a consistent playoff team and win a championship or two then is it really overspending?

Go back and watch some of our best defenses 2011, etc. those defenses did the same thing.

Was that the game where they allowed students to watch from tiger stadium? If so that’s where I saw it

re: Qatar layover

I’ve done the city transit tour. You have to go through security and they stamp your passport with a daily pass, takes a good bit of time. They then load you on a bus and you see the marina, some big outdoor mall area that is pretty cool and then the bazaar area which is crazy. You see the palace and other sites in the city while on the bus. It’s a good way to kill a long layover in Doha, the airport there is also pretty awesome

re: 11 day Mediterranean cruise

If you are on the cruise ship the whole time I would just bring maybe a a hundred for small items in ports and tips. Every thing you buy on the ship just gets billed to your account and you pay with the cc when you settle up.

Budapest, Istanbul, Krakow
Posted by luvdatigahs on 1/24/25 at 12:45 pm
Heading to Greece for a solo trip in early September. Following a med cruise, I have three extra days to spend before coming back to the states. I have narrowed my search to Budapest, Istanbul, or krakow. Istanbul has the sites like Hagia Sophia, Budapest is quieter and seems very peaceful, krakow has the WWII sites and monuments.
Has anyone been to some or all of these cities and can help me make the decision?
