Would you be in favor of every traffic light in your city being replaced by a roundabout?

I absolutely would be in favor of this. The traffic always moves better at roundabouts.
Of course there’s always a few idiots who can’t figure out how to use a roundabout, but overall I think the roundabouts are a net positive. I have never had to stop and wait longer than a few seconds at one.

Love a good roundabout. Not every light should be replaced, but plenty could.
Unfortunately the Boomers and NIMBYs in my area throw a shite fit when the city talks about putting some in.

I find a lot of people struggle with two or three lane roundabouts. That being said, I wouldnt trust myself with a 7 lane in London

Yes
I don’t even stop at red lights if nothing‘s coming or I should say I don’t wait for it to turn green. I’m that impatient.

In a heartbeat. They solve so many problems.

You are in favor of putting 10 roundabouts on a highway that has 10 traffic lights in a straight line?

Wouldn't work in some scenarios, but I"m all for more roundabouts

Carmel, Indiana has installed 150 roundabouts over the last 30 years.
Lots of info out there on how it has improved things. Reduced crashes by something like 80%.

Your football team can't follow basic speed limits, so that probably tracks.

I love a good roundabout, but seeing most… um.. Baton Rouge drivers, I don’t think they could handle it.
I’m still shocked how many people here don’t know you can turn right on red, don’t know the left lane is for passing, etc.

Just take the Juban Road exit and try to drive north, right on Eden Church, then left at Lockhart to Range. There are 7 to 8 roundabouts in that short distance.

A lot could be with one caveat: we love to put a roundabout and then put red lights or u turns within 100 yards of the damn thing and fricking it all back up worse than it was to start with.

I take the Lobdell roundabout dozens of times a week. Other than some unnecessary tentativeness, I never really see any issues.
With that said, I don’t know if we need frequent roundabouts on major highways, but we could easily use dozens more in town.
