All of the hotel rooms in Panama City had them ceramic, easy to clean floor tiles, but if u ever dropped a beer bottle it would instantly shatter

There's always that one friend who can't handle his liquor. That friend doesn't get invited on the next trip.
We made the mistake of bringing the foreign exchange student with us. That guy funneled a whole bottle of Jack Daniel's on the balcony. He started trying to pick up girls by screaming in his language. The police appeared quickly after.

Was much different for us in the 90’s. I don’t remember anyone getting evicted from hotel rooms. Cops would just make you pour out your beer/liquor then move on. Anyone remember the trash can they had on Front Beach Rd and Thomas Dr seemed like every 100ft or so. I got pulled over with a trunk full of beer. Cops made me and a buddy pour all of it out and throw away the bottles/cans in those trash cans while they watched. Then they would just go on to the next car of teenagers. No threats of arrest or anything.

What kind of penalties would VRBO or Air BNB be able to hit them with?
Beyond the obvious....being perma-banned from the service, no refund on the unused days, higher cleaning fee charges if they left the place a mess, and cost of any damages they caused

Happened to me in the 90s in Destin. Not my fault - dumbass brother was the idiot. Got rousted out of bed and had to Geaux. No refund either. Good times…

Same for me. I slept on the damn floor. My kids have both stayed in nice places for spring break and senior trips.
Two issues…. One kid went to Pensacola Beach with probably 200 other Catholic school kids and the cops were obnoxious with trying to arrest them. And I’m not even talking about drinking on the beach and stuff. It was in private houses.
The other issue was when my son was 18 he was with another family at a place in Orange Beach. The little dumbass and his friend were in the game room and instead of putting beer in a cup, they were drinking out of the cans. One of the old miserable employees saw them on the camera and called the cops. I didn’t have a problem with that.
The cops wanted to handcuff them to escort them off to the police vehicle. The dad was an attorney and talked them out of doing that. The assholes still took them to the police station and booked them. Stupid money grab bullshite.
Back in my day the kids would just be issued a ticket for minor in possession.
