re: leveling a pier and beam house

Highly recommend checking doors and windows during the jacking process. If you have sticking doors or windows and they start swinging and closing properly... you might be where you need to be even if water level shows 1/4" off somewhere.

Getting an older home back to perfectly level might not be what you really need.

Go slow and check often.
None. However I do pull for the Ags in sports.

Don’t pull for them in financials. But hey.., you do you.
Nothing wrong with New Orleans or unsafe about it if you watch the time. Just do all activities and sightseeing from 6:30am until 8:15am and you will have zero issues.
Congrats on your accomplishment. I'm sure you played a pivotal role in that. Definitely worthy of bragging about it.
Enjoy the hell out of your season.

Pulling for Ole Miss the rest of the way. :gorebels:
Government should just set the price of all cars. That would really bring prices down.

Good grief.
Seems early for you to be turning into a pussy. Thought you did this around noon?
No we don’t have an elite defense. On Saturday it was more than enough. Possibly best overall game of the year.

Also, saw a post above about continuing to build a team around Reed. I just don’t see how you can build a team around a consistently bad passer.

While I am venting.,, the maroon goons.., give us all a break. That was a B- line all year. Too many mental mistakes, too many holds, and persistent inability to get a power run established. Really need an upgrade on Oline.

Finally, is Elko going to address the kicking game. Painful.
I get the question and speculation... What I am interested in seeing is if Elko is interested in pushing Reed out as starter. If not, we have a problem.

Clearly Reed is not even a good passer... much less a great or elite passer. Got to have a great passing QB to make national noise. Scrambling ability is a nice to have but hitting receivers is paramount.

Just an average QB with some pocket presence on Saturday and we would have won by 2 scores. Wasted a very good defense this year with ineptitude passing the ball.

Streaky passing, lots of missed deep balls with wide open receivers throughout the season, entire halves of football games with no offense, all go back to Reed. Been a problem all year. Seen enough of him and time to move on.

That's the biggest change. Used to be fun in the football game threads.

There was a women's volleyball thread I just read through... had a couple of fricktards doing their best to look like assholes. Good grief... give it a rest once in a while. At least in a game thread.

re: Collin Klein

The only possible adjustment would be to have receivers “guess” where the ball was going to be thrown. 2 yards short, 2 yards behind, 3 yards ahead, or a yard too high and try to get in that position somehow. Because the ball wasn’t being thrown on target, even when he had plenty of time,

Blaming Klein is fricking stupid. Even for you.
I think this is true. We benefited from our schedule. More specifically REED benefitted. Against good defensive pressure Reed is just not good. Way too inaccurate. Has been a problem all year long.

Going to re-watch the game when we get home. Klein didn’t seem to be the problem to me. Reed was awful. 6 or 7 of his completions were on bubble screen type throws. The problem with them is they were so off target we had guys jumping up or having to go backwards to catch them. Miami had time to stuff that shite. Way too many off target throws that were completely uncatchable, he missed wide open guys a lot.

Reed is just too inaccurate and streaky. He isn’t close to being the right guy.

Easy to point the finger at Klein but he wasn’t even close to the problem today. Reeds inconsistent and terrible throws and of course our shitty FG kickers.

Lots of drops… waaay too many. If Bama receivers had great hands they would have had another 100+ yards and scored 50.

The last 5 minutes of first half…. Alabama gold!

Nice win over those cocksuckers.
That was a complete bullshite call. Technically correct I suppose.. but complete bullshite.
Over the place. If the line can get their shite halfway together Bama can score 30 in second half.

That OU lineman in Bama QB face talking shite early on that drive.. why????
Just exactly how low is the definition on your RCA? Good lawd the ball was in QB hand and it still said 1 in red.
I thought DeBoer was fricking up not taking the FG. Turned out to be a good call. Lots of receivers open in that OU secondary.
