More proof that he is just ring chasing.....man wants nothing to do with the city. By the way, after what happened to Kobe, taking a helicopter everyday would be one of my last choices of transportation.

I wouldn't wish that fate on him, but I wouldn't shed a tear if it happened

I certainly hope he never in his time of public spotlight made a comment about man made global warming or carbon emissions.

Celebrities are nothing but virtue-signaling phonies. DiCaprio and Spielberg lecture about the environment, yet they own 2 of the biggest yachts on the planet.

People need to understand when these super rich or Hollywood types lecture about things like environment or how one should live, they really don't mean that it applies to them.

I already knew he was stupid, but someone that willingly rides a helicopter every single day is a special kind of stupid.

That makes for a bunch of dumbass traffic reporters, flight medics and military aviators.

Hes NOT a team player and he won't invest in a damn apartment? He isnt interested in the team and this kind of shite simply kills the chemistry on and off the court. Hes such a bitch

I know affording it is not an issue for him but believe I would just rent an apartment in Philly during the season instead of flying back and forth like that

Imagine adding to the tax rolls in NYC. Good luck.

I've dealt with the residency rules there before for clients. I guarantee he is not going to go over that 183 day limit and becoming a NY resident (if you step foot in the state, that counts as a day). He will definitely have a primary domicile out of NY so he will only be paying income tax on the games vs the Knicks and Nets.

If I’m a celebrity I’m avoiding daily helicopter rides and piloting my own plane.

Celebrities - they're just like us!

I will never root for LeBron, regardless of what team he's playing. So let me guess, since his son is clearly not an NBA caliber player, the Sixers will now hire him as GM.

I guess he wants to be close to Comdami. The NBA will be better of when he finally retires. Dude's 41 going on 42. That's a tough game to play in your 40's.
