Read that new and used car parts are taking a major hit.
Fram /First brand has filed bankruptcy.
Grupo Antolin has went out of business .
O'Reillys is buying out Napa
CSK which made remanufactured parts also filed bankruptcy .
Not good.

No, the auto parts industry is not on the verge of collapsing.

I keep thinking there's no way the amount of TexMex places that keep opening up can be sustained. I know the U.S. has a growing Hispanic population, but those folks likely look at the food at those joints the same true born Cajuns look at a place like Razoo's.
Was in Lafayette this past weekend for a bit, and realized that the old Chili's on Pinhook is now some TexMex joint...right across the street from already established El Paso. The amount of TexMex places that have opened up in Lafayette the past decade seems absurd, and it looks to be a growing trend almost everywhere.
Quite a few of these places have to be a front for something else, or it's a bubble that has to bust soon, no?

I was going to say car parts but you already covered it. Don't know if its part of the deep state or weird market forces but getting cars repaired for the next decade or so might be a complete shitshow.

As long as drug cartels and their associates need places to launder money these places will keep popping up like a Spirit Halloween Stores in abandoned big box store fronts.
This is just pure speculation on my part but something like this is the only way I can see how these places just keep opening and staying open at the rates they do while other restaurants seem to struggle.

Not on the verge, but the rideshare industry is going to be in for a rude awakening once autonomous vehicle taxis are made available widespread.

They're ludicrously expensive to buy and I'm not keeping one in my driveway so I have to pay to store it somewhere. Gas is higher than giraffe pussy.
And no one in my generation that I know of or heard of owns one (In early 40s).

Lab made is indecipherable from real thing to naked eye and are flawless. This industry has been ripe for destruction for a while now.
