Was it basically the 80s through the early 90s? When did the beer trucks at the houses get shut down?
70s, 80s, and early early 90s. Not sure when they shut down beer trucks or why. I was gone by then.

Crazy that TeKE is one of the tops, in the 80's it was always a bottom dweller. Good for them...
When I was a TKE at Southeastern, we always joked we were going to BR and taking over their house.

You got that right. There were full on brawls in the fraternity section at home games fueled by drinking all day before the game and sneaking JD/Crown into the game. Buncha white guys in blue blazers duking it out. No one got in trouble either. Just kicked out of Tiger Stadium. Oh well. Back to the house!

They were a bottom dweller until Sigma Chi got kicked off about 10 years ago and their PC all went and joined TKE

Delta Chi had a chef that was selling the kids cocaine, so I would say that is definitely the #1 fraternity

Does everyone still hate PIKE?

Half of the fraternities have been kicked off campus since I was there. No idea what it’s like now

Right now I think the top fraternities are Kappa Sig, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu.

That DKE Animal House video is the Goat.
If I watch that while listening to the second side of "Abbey Road", I'll be ruined for a week.
At 07:18 we see Ricky Albright (RIP). What a great guy he was. At the time of this video he was an attorney and later became the legal advisor for the Deke chapter, a job that shot half his weekends bailing out young civic-minded Dekes and working for reduced charges. He knew every judge in BR and half the judges in Orleans Parish.
He always had great stories but my favorite was when four drunk pledges (pardon the redundancy) in a Jeep broke through the fence at the BR Metro Airport at 2AM. They then proceeded to race up and down the runway until the EBR SO arrived, at which point the fun stopped.
Ricky got the call around 6AM and proceeded to the BR lockup. But the little darlings were no longer there. It seems the Federal BI had taken offence (and custody) and whisked the Deke hopefuls to a Federal holding cell in New Orleans.
At that point Ricky knew this wasn't going to be just another DWI dropped to reckless operation and started to make some calls. It turned out that one of the Fab Four's father was an attorney of some note in Shreveport and he told Ricky to 'hold his beer'.
But again, the Feds were one step ahead. They moved the Darlings to another facility not once but twice, preventing Daddy from finding them and pushing the limit on bail appearance to a questionable point. But, well, they were the Feds and had many jurisdictions from which to choose on this issue.
Finally, this mess percolated up to a Congressman or two and the Feds were told to make nice. Fines were paid, the Jeep was given up and lots of community service was allocated. So if you were in the Salvation Army on Airline Hwy in the 1980's and noticed a guy wearing a starched button-down Gant behind the desk, you witnessed justice being served.
As to details, Ricky was told, "Don't ask" and was more than happy to comply. But he always suspected that behind it all there was one of those tight-assed Sigma Chi's working in the DoJ.

Good times that we ruined for y’all younguns.
I wish I could appropriately scribe the story of my wife (just a girl I knew back then) hanging out of an upstairs window with her friend whilst we drank from a kiddie pool.
ETA- And y’all wonder why ya momma put life 360 on your arse.
