Gas stations with a vapor recovery system will actually pump excess fuel back into the gas station's tank. So once you fill your tank, any excess that you try to "top off" your tank with, will actually be pumped back to the gas station.

How's this: Most cabotage ocean shipments out of the US going to another US port must be with a US crew....per the Jones act. There are ways around this however.

People still try to defraud insurance despite all the surveillance available today. Private investigators are often sent out on work comp claims to ensure they're actually legit, especially back injuries. I've seen countless cases of bawwws with alleged back injuries doing something dumb like manually lifting and hooking their boat trailer to their truck.

The real reason that manufacturing is cheaper in Asia has nothing to do with labor. It's ironically because Asians have invested in automation much more aggressively than we have. And they have lower cost of capital. Even their mom and pop owned factories are way ahead of their US counterparts in the age and sophistication of their equipment
