I would wait until the new model suburban comes out. They are replacing the 5.3 and 6.2 V8 with something else.
I would stay away from the 6.2 and 3.0 diesel

Regardless if you continue at a normal job or start your own business you will still work for someone.
Everyone has to put up with BS. It is life. If I went out and found a new job every time something didn't go my way I would be on job number 25 at 40 years old.
The other issue with jumping ship every couple years is potential employers will deem you not employable and consider other candidates. I have been at my current job almost 16 years, sure there are ups and downs but I like the stability.

Passed through a town called Merryville on my way to Sam Rayburn a few years ago. Did not see a single person out in their yard or walking anywhere. No other vehicles on the roads. It was like no one lived there at all. Very weird.

Our dog is 16 years old, can't see or hear great anymore but still jumping on furniture like she is a young pup. I really don't know if she will ever die.
