They can spare me the theatrics. This is where they act surprised and pretend like they didn't know Reggies has been serving underaged people for decades. They're just as culpable for letting Reggies get away with it for so long.

all the bars tried to do the LSU ID thing but got called racist. So they all stopped.

I went to the LA Sec of State website to see who owns Reggie's. They list the two owners, and then their registered agent, who is an attorney in the Ossie Brown law offices. I google his name, and it brings me to Baton Rouge's version of Saul Goodman.

It was ok if we didn’t have a fake
You still let us drink underage,
this bar was really small
but it stood above most all
Shots were only 50 cents
And bar tar was up to our shins
we only know you from tigerland
but you let us be a man
from a bar grill and watering hole
On stage there was a stripper pole
you had neon signs and this is true
but there was no freshman you would not imbue
you were the best I have ever seen

Murphy's was arguably made a scapegoat for something it was only peripherally a part of. If the facts being reported are anywhere near accurate, Reggie's contributed materially to this girl's death.
