Save money . Biloxi Mississippi already has all this. Go carts tracks, Amusement park resort for kids( I think it used to be Jimmy Buffet’s casino) etc.

Looks a lot like cheap arse Sea World San Antonio. Really cheap and shitty ride landscaping. It’ll probably look better once the trees grow and everything fills in. But it looks like arse right now and doesn’t help that the ride sucks.

Bunch of ignorants in here. This “amusement park” is designed for little kids only.

You can build a theme park for children that isn’t embarrassing looking.

I mean it is supposed to be for kids. Looks like a bunch of kids rides. I wouldn't go there cuz my little one would be bored but for others with small ones it might be great.

This whole park is aimed at very young kids. Not sure what the issue is here

Outdoor theme park in the metro with possibly the worst year around weather of any major metro in the US seems like a retarded idea

I mean Six Flags does most of their business in the summer.

If you're not going to at least match Six Flags quality, why bother building this in the first place?

Because its a kids park designed for 10 and under. There arent any adventure rides, for that reason

You want roller coasters go to 6 Flags, 30 min away

This park is targeted for kids 5-9 years old.

It only costs $55/pp to get in, including adults

It was not meant to be as spectacular as Universal in Orlando

$55 isn’t bad at all, considering most kids go to those indoor jumpy places and pay $25 for 2 hours

This gets kids outside and something unique to do at that age

Time will tell, but I think it’s a great idea…location is probably suspect due to the potential for weather all summer, but I’m sure they did research on that before picking Frisco

Seems decent enough, but not sure I’d build a whole vacation around it.

If I were already going to Dallas, I could see making a day out of it, but unless the themed aspects get much better, I don’t think I could justify building a vacation around what I could get by going to Carousel Gardens / Storyland in City Park.

Maybe because their children are 6 yrs. old and younger. Why do families with young children go to Peppa Pig Land in Florida? They are not going for the big thrill rides, obviously.

Families that have both young children and teens can plan a little trip and go to both Six Flags and Universal Resort for Kids.

Honestly after seeing all the rides on some videos the Shrek one is far and away the worst and it's actually kind of surprising they built it that way b/c the rest of the stuff in the park looks fine for the age range they are targeting.

I asked my kid to look at what all they had and he seemed enthused about it. I still doubt he'd like the Shrek ride but the kiddie coasters, swings, and water rides got him pretty excited.

Here's a long tour on YouTube

and here's a short vid on just the rides on Insta LINK

When I saw an exterior shot from the highway, it looked like some multicolored eastern european, soviet era block of apartments.

They know it’s shitty, that’s why they flew down a bunch of social media influencers and gave them free stuff to post glowing reviews. That’s the most half-assed looking theme park I’ve ever seen, I don’t care how young the demographic is. State fairs put in more effort.
