And suddenly February out of conference games aren’t really important.

Yes, it’s a bad loss, and fans hate it, but Jay Johnson does not care all that much about winning midweek games.

The midweek games are used to tinker with the lineup and pitching rotation to see what your players off the bench can do.

Jay uses the games to find out what players he may need to rely on later in the season and in a playoff run.

Hockey bros did nothing wrong. Still strange behavior from make a wish Kash. You and BBONDS and HHTM just handle yourselves differently than I do, I guess. I’d let the guys who earned it have their moment.

My theory:

Kash is a hockey fan.

Trump wanted to be able to talk to the team if they won gold.

Trump allows Kash to be the means to make the phone call and allows him to attend final.

Team USA wins gold.

Kash goes to the locker room to facilitate the Trump call.

The hockey bros just want to celebrate win with any and everyone in locker room and hype Kash up.

Kash chugs beer and gets caught up in the moment.

Kash makes Trump call as he was tasked to do.

Kash leaves locker room.

Internet proceeds to lose its collective mind.

Then people would stop actually going to the games. In order to fill these 100,000+ seat stadiums, you have people driving in from 2+ hours each way,

You think people would stop going to the games if they lasted 2 hours or less?

People would be more likely to go.

Best part about soccer, in person or on TV, in that I generally know when it will end and can appropriately plan rest of day around it.

soccer just has the ads on the field, the stadium, the jerseys, the league name

They can put as many ads on field, stadiums, jerseys, referees, fans, equipment as they want if it meant I could watch a football game in under 2 hours.

Gymnastics?

Gymnastics keeps getting thrown around, but comparing an event that both the men and women do, floor routine, the men seem to do far more advanced flips and twists with none of the bullshite dancing in between.
If going the LVP route, make sure you trust the installer and that the locking mechanism on the floating LVP is reliable.

We used the Home Depot contractor when we installed LVP 4 years ago thinking it would be a pretty simple installation and something they couldn’t mess up, but the connections are breaking all over and we will have to replace it all much sooner than we were expecting.

It should have been a big red flag to me when the installers were complaining of the the proprietary locking mechanism on the LVP we selected and how difficult it was for them to figure it out.

It makes no sense that these are separated by sex

From Google AI, which could just be some message board post, lol:

Men’s dart records generally show higher scoring averages and more frequent nine-darters compared to women’s, though the gap is closing at the elite level. While men hold higher long-term statistical averages, elite women like Beau Greaves (114.56 record average) and Fallon Sherrock (first woman to hit a televised nine-darter) have recently produced performances that match top-tier men's scoring

What do you guys do?

Depends on an employment title/hierarchy, deadlines, meetings, etc.

In management now, and unless I have a pending deadline or meeting, I just change my status on Teams the morning of.

When just an employee, I let all my supervisors and managers know as soon as I knew I would be out no matter if the date was of importance or not.
Probably something to do with Title IX

There is zero way this is not going to be a abomination.

All of the Toy Story movies have been well done, so I’ve got no reason to think this one will be bad. The storyline with tablets/electronics also seems good.

IS buzz still gay in this one?

Buzz was never gay. Pixar forced a totally unnecessary short lesbian kiss scene in Lightyear, but it was never Buzz.

I don’t trust Pixar anymore

I’d like to think Pixar isn’t dumb enough to woke up the golden goose that is the Toy Story franchise.

Anybody who’s willing to be the babysitter of a bunch of college kids is basically asking for this

And it’s why you’ll slowly see fraternities go away.

Why sink money, time, and effort into something as an alum that can all be gone in an instant due to some dumb college kid or some overzealous University Greek Affairs Department.
To say they are burying themselves is an understatement. They will be killing a program on the rise that was doing better numbers than the WNBA.

Sunday Night Baseball actually saw its best year ratings-wise in 8 years, last season, lol.

quote:

In 2025, ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball experienced its most-watched season in eight years, averaging roughly 1.68 to 1.8 million viewers, a significant 21% increase over 2024. Key matchups frequently exceeded 2 million viewers, with a June 1, 2025, Yankees-Dodgers game peaking at over 3 million, driven by higher youth engagement and increased popularity

quote:

The 2025 WNBA regular season on ESPN networks averaged 1.3 million viewers across 25 games, marking a 6% increase year-over-year and the most-watched regular season in their history. Across all major networks (ESPN, CBS, ION), the season saw a 3% rise to 969,000 average viewers, with the 2025 playoffs averaging 1.2 million viewers.

How is getting the house dad (whatever the hell that is) on the phone to talk to the police self-incriminating?

Why do their job for them and blindside the house dad or whomever they were going to call without a plan?
quote:

I saw a little snippet of it yesterday and it's weird as hell. The cops were basically telling them this is the type of stuff that gets frats shut down and all they could say was basically "it doesn't matter cause house daddy."

To avoid self-incrimination?

The fire alarm goes off and these idiots stay in place, blindfolded?

That’s on the actives and not the pledges.

The pledges obviously thought everything was a part of the ritual and actives fricking with them.

Best news I've heard.

The only thing that worries me is being able to replace the comedic parts of Dr. Kelso and the Janitor with Kelso being so old now and reports of the Janitor not being in the initial episode.
Big ol’ case of copium after Flau’jae put the team on her back Saturday night, but ultimately choked the game away when she couldn’t make 2 free throws.

This type of review makes me think they stuck to the gay, black, tranny and other risqué types of jokes from the original run and Variety is upset that Scrubs hasn’t evolved past that.
Looks like some creativity

As for how quick the news picks it up I guess you can be mad at that if you want some reason to get mad.

That’s all that annoys me because all 4 incidents were not newsworthy.

Carrollton and Thoth only became news because police severely overreacted to incidents that would not be newsworthy.

Tucks became news because people are idiots and racebaiting gets clicks.

Zulu was more than likely an accident and shouldn’t be news, but only is due to bottle hitting a kid.
