BR cops that can't control crime in the city don't want citizens to have a way to protect themselves. Who gives a frick what they say, the legislature should still override the veto.

Idiotic. Criminals ALREADY break the law...this one is currently not stopping them. As with most gun control laws, this only effects law abiding citizens.

Where are they while the crime rates are constantly rising in the city? I don't see them doing this gay, attention seeking shite for that.

They're all horrible at their jobs. Why should we care what they think about this bill?
That's like asking for Johnny Jones' opinion on how to create a winning basketball team.

So now people with guns are bad guys?

All the criminals are illegally carrying guns now, this just lets normal citizens do it that choose to be rules followers.
The stance that this makes the city more dangerous is a laughable as the idiot mayors telling us college students being vaccinated is our states #1 issue

more laws = more cops needed to enforce them.

Cops respond much more than they prevent / protect from crime.
You are responsible for your personal safety. Sucky as that may sound to some, if you are banking on the cops protecting you, you may be in for a rude awakening.

This poses an exponential threat to every law enforcement officer in the state," Sheriff Sid Gautreaux said. "It's hard enough for us to do our jobs... In Louisiana it’s usually pretty clear who the criminals are
Posted on 7/8/21 at 4:20 pm to Bout_Dat_Lyfe
Fk them and them their cash cow trying to criminalize everyone with the endless legislation.

Law enforcement fails to solve nearly 40 percent of murders.

Wouldn’t this law essentially remove a law cops need to enforce?

yes. I read the article of them not being in support of removing the restriction on carrying.

The law enforcement community is one of the usual suspects that keeps Louisiana shitty. They’re a big player in Louisiana’s culture of corruption.
After all, the sheriffs association endorsed JBE twice because he would protect their little fiefdoms and he has so far.
Override that veto and ram it down the throats of those Boss Hogg wannabes.
