The trend is having almost exclusively black mayors since the early 90s. I think after John Rousakis and Susan Weiner I think it's been the 'trend,' mostly due to the demographics of the city. Most folks who could have left the city limits did and moved to Richmond Hill, Pooler, Port Wentworth, etc.

That stupid movement died once Ozempic started to become widespread among the celebrities and ‘influencers’ who preached that same message a short while ago. Now it’s just a coping mechanism for not getting your weight and health habits under control.
