That figure is way higher in NOLA. 2/3 of murders do not even result in arrest.

The law enforcement community is one of the usual suspects that keeps Louisiana shitty. They’re a big player in Louisiana’s culture of corruption.
After all, the sheriffs association endorsed JBE twice because he would protect their little fiefdoms and he has so far.

It does not remove illegality of felons concealing fire arms... dafuq are you talking about?
Posted on 7/8/21 at 11:52 pm to SlickRickerz
No Alton sterling could not legally conceal under the new law, if JBE’s veto is overridden. He couldn’t even legally own a fire arm, much less conceal and carry one, because he is a felon, with past felonies involving firearms at that.

Let’s not forget that Alton Sterling was a convicted sex offender as well.

I'm an LEO and this couldn't be more accurate. "When seconds count, cops are minutes away." When I was a shift sergeant, I had 7-8 deputies on a good day working for me. My district had over 150,000 residents. Do the math. We can't be everywhere at once.
Hold your GOP state reps' feet to the fire. Let them know in no uncertain terms if they don't support the veto override, their career is over.
I like you.

They do that anyway. They run licenses and names etc to look for warrants. The criminal records of suspects are seconds away, at their fingertips.

It’s always about the money. It’s the CCP money and:or the funds JBE sweeps their way or is protecting for them. Bank on that.

You have no idea what the frick you’re talking about.

You are retarded and have no understanding of the way the current law works and how it would work under the new law. If you are a cop already, it’s scary you don’t understand these things.

A good job. Job market seems to be the strongest in BR than anywhere else in the state. That’s about all I can think of.

That is unconstitutional. Once someone serves their time then they have the God given right to bear arms. The vast majority of felonies are victimless or non-violent crimes and once they serve their time it doesn’t mean the govt can infringe on that right and make them a sitting duck for a violent criminal.
If they’re so damn dangerous they shouldn’t be released in society but the truth is that legislatures have taken a broad brush with felony classifications to take ours guns every chance they can get.

Im talking about you guys talking out both ends of your arse. All I see on here is key board warriors laughing about crime. Then y'all complain that's nothing done about crime, then laws that keep guns off the streets are removed and you wonder why there are so many murders. Someone mentioned that 40? of murders aren't solved in BR. So what the officers in BR are out numbered 25k to 1....how many investigators are there? 50? That means 60? of murders are solved by a dept overwhelmed. Yet here some of y'all are complaining. Fraid ya rights are gonna be taken away lol every right you have is regulated. How bout this get off your arse and do something. I mean only 60? of murders are solved, these "clowns" blah blah blah surely you guys are smart enough to figure out a better way to do it. Any of y'all done anything about crime or making this country great except type?

They put a room full of losers who cannot pass a physical fitness test, prevent crime, and make excuses about cleaning up crime to tell citizens they cannot protect themselves.
I would think they need to work on getting the criminals off the street. That sounds like too much work.
Let’s keep it simple and start at just like putting down the donut and exercising to pass a PT test.
