So, a carseat broke free from the vehicle and was ejected with an infant strapped inside? Horrible.

Stats police also showing a fatal crash in LC on I-210. Be careful out there.

Someone heading westbound, for some reason, crossed the median into the eastbound lanes. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why or how this happens.

I’ve seen people lose control and also know of one having a heart attack which caused the car to cross median while the driver expired.

I drive across the highway of death Whiskey Bay, and there are more 18 wheelers than cars/trucks.
Those mofos don’t obey road laws at all.

I moved out to Houston from Baton Rouge a little over a year ago.

I never understood how so many 18 wheelers jack-knifed, caused accidents and wound causing so much chaos.

After driving back and forth between Houston and BR the last year...I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more often.

18 wheelers are constantly swaying back and forth in their lane, crossing over to other lanes unknowingly, driving way above the speed limit, etc...

Unreal.

Or wasn’t used at all or wasn’t properly installed.

People are afraid of covid when this is one of the top child killers. Lots of parents don’t fasten the car seats properly.

Horrible to hear.

UPDATE: Louisiana State Police are reporting the crash claimed the lives of 31-year-old Keayette Wilkens, 52-year-old Angela Wilkins, and 10-month-old Jacon Wilkens. All of them were unrestrained.

The drivers of the two other vehicles were properly restrained and sustained minor injuries.
