The combat system is turn based, however when the enemy is taking their turn to attack, there are dodge and parry mechanics you can use.

Dodge is much more forgiving, but does not offer a counter attack

Parry has to be much more precise, but if you time it correctly, you both block the enemy attack and perform a counter attack that deals damage to the enemy.

For example, the enemy is taking their turn to attack. The enemy animation is to walk forward and swing their sword at me. When their animation of the sword swinging starts, the game allows me to hit a button at just the right time to dodge it and avoid damage.

Same with parry.

It's almost like a hybrid combat system that is heavily weighted towards turn based.

Underrated comment
It's a base enemy you run into in the middle of the area. It's a jumping smash attack and I cannot for the life of me time the dodge.

I don't think it's a white rock guy?
Are the men absolutely fearless In this scenario?

Running full steam at a Silverback gorilla is counter intuitive. Hesitation is going to play a huge factor.

Conversely, the gorilla isn't going to hesitate and in fact is going actively be aggressive.
It's the mouth breathers who think "tUrN bAsEd iS bOrInG" giving the negative reviews. I feel like everytime I see this comment on social media, it's almost exclusively people who haven't played the game.

They want to mash buttons and finish the game as fast as possible or play a Souls like game where you have to dodge roll for 3 business days.

I heard someone say the game automatically sucks because it doesn't have multi-player.

People are dumb these days.
I'm at the place with ship wreckage (next point after Esquie I believe)

Can someone explain to me how to properly time the enemies smash attack (it goes in slow motion in the middle of it)?

I've tried what I thought was on time, then early, then late, but I can't dodge or parry it. It's a one hit KO on my peeps so it's wildly annoying.
I tried the volleyball once and then left. Maybe later
It's like an interactive book or really good TV show.

This game is so fricking good. Good music/soundtrack in a game is one of my top desires and this one is 10/10
Just finished Act 1, starting Act 2

This story man....
I'm such a dumb arse. I never applied my lumina points

It caught me of guard as well

Lotta bush too.

I wasn't sure how I felt about the animated titties. I wanted to like them but felt weird about it.
Back at it after watching the NFL draft all weekend. Just finished the Gestral Village. :nana:

Halfway through episode 2 (8 episodes total).

Loving the unique animation style. Story is solid as is the music.

Anyone else watched?

Imagine your turd climbing out of the toilet and just rolling around your house.
I'd rather boomers not show up. They are distracting and inefficient when in the workplace.

I'm not not Gen Z btw. They have their own issues.
Boomers are the most entitled generation and it's by a WIDE margin.

They are an absolute pain to serve at restaurants.

They are by far the worst demographic to assist when working in customer service.

Ever have a conversation with a boomer around? You get 60 seconds maximum before they either make the conversation completely about them or proceed to just absolutely shite all over whomever else is in the conversation about any random thing.

You can't ever ask them for help or advice without them talking down to you.

They take every opportunity in any of the above situations to tell you both how great they are and how awful you and your generation are.

ETA: They also talk about how useless and entitled the two generations THAT THEY RAISED are. Zero self awareness and they take zero responsibility for anything.

And he isn't the only one. Several people have talked about him as potentially being one of the best if not the best QB that will come from this draft.
This is wildly inappropriate and un-Christian.

What are the websites where this whore's work is published so I know what sites to avoid.....
