I don’t see any way to proceed without an actual regime change. They will now see obtaining a nuke as an existential deterrent and the only way to guarantee their survival. They already did before but didn’t have the Seoul threat to actually get them to that final step like North Korea did.

I don’t know how to guarantee the regime will fall but assassination missions will add up pretty significantly over time. Plus taking out checkpoints and any group of soldiers. At some point Iranian people will need to step up.

Must be hard when a president doesn’t spoon feed you exactly what’s going on and instead uses communication to create leverage and response from others. It’s asymmetrical and exactly why Trump has always been successful. I don’t even like him and didn’t always vote for him. I just understand what he’s doing.


The war is won. It’s just a question of the terms. That’s all Iran is fighting for now. Who can remain in charge how much face can they save, what power can they appear to have. They are a proud people and the psychopaths in charge having pride and crazy combined is no small thing. I think we now have to make sure the regime is destroyed. I don’t know and most importantly they don’t know if Trump believes the same thing. And therefore that uncertainty creates opportunities and options. Which is exactly why Trump keeps them guessing.
