Special teams helped

Would like us to break 25 just offense.

re: Huge 3 and out to start the half.

Wasn’t a 3 and out. But they did have to punt at least.
Watch this team.

Loooong developing read options
Whiff blocks
More Whiff blocks
Throw the ball five yards short into the ground.
Another whiff block
Not a whiff block but pushed five yards back into the running back.

I was there. Down 20 and Faulk took over.

ETA - 4q begins around 16 minute mark.

Things I’m not worried about today

The water bottles in Houston

LSU breaking any offensive bowl records

Seeing Brian Kelly’s fake arse yell about something.

Brad Davis inexplicably still being here

I think if you can do that you have it project the best plays in stadium history in the field.

Billy’s punt return etc.
How can a post be both two weeks behind and yet still timely and relevant?

With Half his money. His ex has the other half.

If your wife is dumb enough to get seduced by a Rozy finch boy it’s probably not a real loss.

My two big takeaways so far this year

Team hasn’t given up. That speaks highly of Moore and locker room. This is starting to feel like the beginning of a rebuild and not just a bad team/franchise.

Shough could be something. I’d be happier if we had a definitive answer so we can draft a qb this year if needed. But we may not. Maybe the coaches know.

Perk was expecting either the safety or corner to cover deep. Safety went to other side of field and corner stayed shallow. Based upon the way the corner reacted I would suspect it was his bad. But hard to know for sure. I would doubt perk had deep responsibilities but can’t rule it out completely.
During our best season in five decades and just dismantling any joy.

Beating us is all they will have left.

It will be like when saban went to bama except only one is the teams involved will be relevant.
All while securing more guarantees from ole miss.

3/3 all accomplishments met.
Written by a cylon to distract us from these important glimpses into our future.
I could see him being announced and his first line at the press conference is “go to hell LSU” and he sprints for his car.

He’s either ours or setting up an epic troll while securing bigger financial commitments ole miss.

I would hope we are still going through interviews and due diligence for other potential coaches so we can move quick if this goes south or lane changes his mind.
Mikes was a good hire. Brought Oklahoma state back to relevance. Teams played hard. Had upsets. Good balance on offense. Was it thr best possible hire probably not, but it was a good hire. And it started well.

Miles problem was 2008. He was already more conservative than optimal (see auburn game 2006) and failing to change with the times but the interceptions in 2008 changed him and his outlook. It was rare to have a good passing attack after that and he loathed throwing over the middle.

Gave Vadal Alexander's dad a job at the hospital doing bs work for 6 figures or something like that.

I don’t think miles had anything to do with it. The guys at OLOL was moving money through people most of whom had nothing to do with football or LSU. As a booster he met vadals parents and added them to his scheme. There was no recruiting payment or incentive included in it. Just shady people who met by their connection to LSU.
Each other.

Negotiate for the most salary, the most coordinator budget, the biggest NIL pool. Why wouldn’t you?

He may not even know which job he’s taking. All things being equal they likely have an idea on preference.

The Ole Miss ultimatum changes the timeline but not the process. Just keep asking each party to up the ante until one one stands atop.
