There are really two options -
The ceasefire exists for some strategic purpose and coming together of plans that is meant to bring about a better result. We just don’t have near enough info about what this could be.
OR
We have no idea what to do next and this is just a stalling option to figure out a better solution.
Your opinion on which this is largely rests upon whether you liked or hated Trump to begin with. Further trumps bombastic style makes option 2 seem potentially more likely as time goes on. However that’s just optics - patience is needed as both of these options are very possible given what’s occurring and would look similar to this point.
The outcome is decidedly more cloudy given the haze of current information. That created angst and uncertainty which no one likes.
I will add - early days our admin and military appeared to have a well coordinated plan. Something went amiss - and we have settled into something of a backup plan (if you believe this is even a plan still)
My guess is we (and importantly the regional governments) were surprised by irans willingness and ability to get some attacks in on their infrastructure and our anti drone/rocket stockpiles we’re getting depleted faster than expected. The ceasefire was in part to reset/refit radar, batteries, stockpiles, layers of defense etc.

The fact that yall think Iran cares about money when it comes to the US and Israel is laughable. Their hate for us is far greater than their need for money. They arent going to give in over money.
They dont “care” about money but they do care about that need to do with it. Pay and fund militias, pay their soldiers etc. resources for fighting. yes they will not succumb just because things get tight but things being tight will definitely ratchet up pressure on them and deprive them of things they need to conduct effectively.

Crazy how down one the players with the most touches the last ten minutes are our CBs by far.

Have to like how we responded after an early goal and shaky first 15 or so minutes.

Did we forget to put the 11th player on? Looks like we are playing short handed

We’ll find out EXACTLY how fricked we are with that back line of ours overall today, that’s for sure.
Looks like that’s been answered.

You aren’t asking questions. You are calling it a disaster when nothing remotely like a disaster has occurred yet. The outlook is decidedly more cloudy. That’s all that’s changed.

What a disaster this “Special Military Operation” has become. Trump accelerated the fall of the US empire by getting involved in this unnecessary conflict.
Jesus. Please get a grip.
It’s nowhere near that bad yet. But he does need this to go somewhere at some point that provides for an improvement from where this was before we started bombing.

As I said before - if this is a purposeful delaying tactic for some sort of strategic benefit Trumps bombastic always talking style is causing way more harm for support of taking on Iran.
Frankly he either just needs to say nothing - pretend it’s not even enough of a priority to be on his desk until such time as something changes. Or he needs to give a simple layout of the terms and repeat those every time asked about it.

Iraq had stockpiles of WMDs
Yeah that’s the part I never understood. They used them. They had them. And all these idiots were saying we lied - when instead they should have been asking where did they go? Who took them? Who has them?

It’s in this hemisphere so a team from South America will win it
My pick is Argentina.

The word is they wanted someone more aggressive than Alonso.
Whether that’s a mistake remains to be seen.

Every time I watch it I think the Algerian defender has a chance to get Donovan’s first touch which is a bit long. He even thought about it.

Why is it not possible to think Russia and China are resupplying them weapons covertly? if you think this isnt happening your really naive.
Of course they are. It’s just a question as to scale and quality. And with shipping closed it would be either what can come in from a plane from china ir what Russia can free up come their own war.
By no means would it come close to making up what they have already lost or shot/fired.

IRGC military capabilities have increased during ceasefire period, says spokesperson
Is this the Iraqi press minister all over again? What else would you expect them to say? That they are worse off?
I would find it difficult to believe if true. If nothing else they have lost a lot of supply due to firing it off and damage from us, we took out much of the manufacturing base, they have lost a lot of leadership. The only possibility is Russian and Chinese supplies of a scale it would be impossible for us to not know.
And frankly Russia has its hands full already.

Your “link” was a news story from two months ago (which you said was last week) about oil sanctions being removed which has no bearing on the current blockade which is what is currently occurring.
Please refrain from clogging this thread up with petty squabbles if you are going to be disingenuous.

Anyone getting too caught up in the daily tit for tat is self reporting their own stupidity.
Ignore the noise and talking. It isn’t meant for you.

There’s no one in the back line who can consistently play a line breaking pass other than Ream. Damned if you do damned if you don’t. He could be exposed athletically but the other guys can be exposed with bad giveaways and being sloppy with the ball.
Problem is even ream had a few giveaways.

Our offensive movement is light years better than under Greg.
Our possesion, particularly by the back 3 is abysmal. So many giveaways.
Clean that up and we may be dangerous.
Biggest thing - guys were working hard and seemed to be having fun. Could have scored a couple of more. Concern - pretty much every defender had a few bad passes or giveaways.
