First season is one of the GOAT of television seasons. It then plummets quickly.

That’s what I fear. Oh well will finish season 1 and see how much more I’m up for. But won’t necessarily stick with it.
Don’t want to read this thread for fear of spoilers. Just stared this one Netflix. 2 episodes in. I see it’s 8 seasons and have concerns that a show starting so promising was then hijacked by producers wanting to milk seasons. It’s hard to see how the current storyline could possibly go more than a year or two.

Does the show stay good? Does it jump the shark or otherwise become about milking seasons rather than a good story well acted?

guess I see it the other way around. This woman was a whore and she hit the lottery and will now be the wife of a high born. I just don't see why she'd contnue to sleep with other men for money? Maybe I'm being naive but she'd be dumb to screw this up.

They went out of the way to paint her as a nice person

Spoke with Dunk a few times. Cheered for him etc.

Remember whoring is not always by choice.
I just took this to mean the head of thr green apple fossaways is really a dondarion.
You got to know somebody. They have to be tight enough with their float Lt. to get you on. That’s about it.

Same is true if most of the parading krewes that are of any value/esteem.

Live south of Claiborne, east of Carrollton and West of Napoleon and he will be fine. Outside of there case by case basis. The area itself is fine. Tulane PD has jurisdiction over the area (1 miles from campus) so that is who he needs if he needs someone. Yankee women live there and have no issues so as long as your son is that capable then he won't have a problem.

Believe he will have to live on campus now for the first 2-3 years.

Loyola is fine. Had several good friends attend. There will be a decent bit of local kids as well as out of Towners. It’s got some good programs. Some teachers are great, some less so. With Tulane right there and the park there are lots of young people around.

Couldn’t finish season 2. Characters are too dumb. Storyline not well executed.

Looks good. Just wish Brendan Fraser had a bit less…well… Brendan Fraser in his voice.

not really, they owned the70s, which leads right up to just before Skip got here, and which is where most of you whippersnappers think college baseball began, I was on LSU teams in the 70s when it was absolutely nothing at LSU, our coach was a football equipment supervisor and car salesman, you can’t ignore what they did just because it doesn’t fit your fairy tale

You kind of make his point with the car salesman details. Those USC titles were when no one cared about the sport. No one invested in it. There was no competition. By the time skip won his first title there were a decent number of teams competing. By the end of skips tenure every SEC team was trying to build a winner. Most of the ACC and Big 12 too.

Easy to win when no one else cares. Hardee when everyone is shooting for it.

Over it back as a kid but I wasn’t supposed to watch it so I know I didn’t see everthing.

No capital gains in 401k. However when you retire, assuming you work at xom, there is potential for net unrealized appreciation. Isn’t appropriate in every situation but could be helpful.

NUA
My only problem with this masterpiece is why are so many bad guys shooting at his feet? He’s on the same level with them and bullets chewing up ground around him instead of trees behind him. Classic 80s issue we still see sometimes today.

Compelling as in copying what someone else is doing? They just captured the Saturday night spot and used bead distribution company to make sure they had plenty of throws to create the branding.

I enjoy both krewes and while Brennan was instrumental it was over a dozen business leaders who created Bacchus. And they changed Mardi Gras for the better. Brennan was just at the head.

The two krewes are very different. And that’s a good thing.

Drew was Grand Marshall of Endymion the year he won the Super Bowl. I guess he felt sorry for Bacchus after he bent the knee.

Wrong. . Brees was king of Bacchus the year of the Super Bowl. He’ now coming back to ride again after hall of fame.

Endymion had tom benson.

Not hard to look up
Will needs to shut up, talking tough. Just show up and do your job. He’s been talking big since college.

Our moon has a great deal of material already up there to shield people though it probably means a lot of space under the surface.

Yeah I think a lot of people underestimate how much future coordination there will be between elons companies. He has a boring/tunneling company. Battery, vehicle and robot company. Space company.

Hmmmm space company’s goes, drops off mining and boring equipment and robots. They build sublunar or submartian facilities. Things are all set before a human has to spend more than a day there.
Wills problem is he didn’t realize in a street fight the other guy may get to throw a punch too.

He was straight up terrible in the playoffs and it’s amazing (and lucky) NE even made it thus far.

The injury gives him a slight mulligan but he needs a great offseason.

Finally finished. Enjoyable, glad I watched it. Typical king hallmarks but the concept was excellent, history’s resistance etc

Definitely an uphill battle between Francos “acting” and how dumb his character constantly is. But it’s still good. Pretty much everyone else is good at what they are doing. Sadie is fire. Woukd time travel and risk timelines for her.

SPOILERS

Kind of surprised he took the bums word for it that she would keep dying. How couldn’t change how his kid died. Sadie didnt die originally so what’s to say going back and not getting involved at all with JFK wouldn’t have worked.
Strong ending. Thought it was less cliffhangerish and more a resetting for next season.

The NCR was supposedly gone except two people so I have to think it’s possible they are mind controlled. Hank did turn on his remote which makes me think he’s activated his people. The timing would be weird to have the NCR mind controlled and already be marching in but who knows. Just wonder what the template (formerly the senators head) is for Hanks controlled people and his purposes. His personal template Lucy set up appears pretty blank based upon his not communicating much.
