provided a link. Feel free to do the same.

Your “link” was a news story from two months ago (which you said was last week) about oil sanctions being removed which has no bearing on the current blockade which is what is currently occurring.

Please refrain from clogging this thread up with petty squabbles if you are going to be disingenuous.
Anyone getting too caught up in the daily tit for tat is self reporting their own stupidity.

Ignore the noise and talking. It isn’t meant for you.

There’s no one in the back line who can consistently play a line breaking pass other than Ream. Damned if you do damned if you don’t. He could be exposed athletically but the other guys can be exposed with bad giveaways and being sloppy with the ball.

Problem is even ream had a few giveaways.
Our offensive movement is light years better than under Greg.

Our possesion, particularly by the back 3 is abysmal. So many giveaways.

Clean that up and we may be dangerous.

Biggest thing - guys were working hard and seemed to be having fun. Could have scored a couple of more. Concern - pretty much every defender had a few bad passes or giveaways.

Just when I thought I was out they are pulling me back in again.
It could easily be 2-2 if Senegal were clinical.

Have to be encouraged by our offense but defense looks susceptible in several ways.
Friend who is there says the security/line is horrible and the stadium will get more full

. Trump is stalling and isn't seeking a deal.

Yep. The question is what is he stalling for?

Trumps optic problem is his grandiose hyperbolic statements don’t work well with stalling.
Modern day knock out win by 2026 would you have believed me?

I thought for sure we would have a couple QF and maybe one of them to a semi appearance in the next 20 years.

Not really feeling like this is our year either.
All of those are enjoyable.

But I would share the feeling I get with every crouch book -

The concept is great or excellent. The set up is as well. The execution goes in a different direction that I was getting pulled and I’m left both a little disappointed in where it went and a little happy that the journey went different that in was thinking.

To put it more clearly - his ideas are great and there are many directions he would go with the stories but I feel like the path they take, while good, was not one of the better potential paths. Almost like he has 10 steps to take and knows where it ends - steps 1-6 are great. But steps 7-9 aren’t. Step 10 is then great.

Official US/Israel vs Iran war threadby TroutGuyMy take is Trump just wants to lower gas prices and put the war on ice until the midterms. I expect we will only know his real Iran plans after those.

I think it’s a balance.

How to achieve what we want to achieve but with some specific limits on consequences (us troop lives, oil price, attacks on regional partners) Maybe it works maybe it doesn’t.
think Trump has become content just laying a modern day siege which is interesting in its own right. Don't think we've seen something like this in a long time.

Definitely seems like the waiting for Iran to have money and resource issues, not able to pay for armies or militias etc. is the new current plan. All the stalling is on our part too.

My one hesitancy on that is we didn’t do enough to destroy their land routes during the bombing campaign. So was this a less planned shift in tactics based upon something else that didn’t happen?

that the World Cup period

Can only assume this is to make the IRGC leadership comfortable enough to do their pot luck watch party of the Iranian games which we can then bomb.

Above all, this shite proves that without a doubt the biggest failures have been the US presidents over the last 47 years. It’s a god damn shame the terror regime was even allowed to get to the level they are at now. What a fricking abomination of decades of interwar level appeasement.

You can’t leave problems for later. They just get worse. We have an opportunity here. I hope we don’t waste it. We likely won’t get a better one.

BREAKING: Iran's Foreign Ministry now officially confirms that no Iranian nuclear commitments and uranium handover exist or will exist in any draft agreement with the US, calling all reports that claim otherwise a "pure lie," making further talks pointless due to the US insistence on this issue. Based on that issue, the statement declares "we are not signing any agreement with the US" and "no one can claim we are close to reaching an agreement." Iran separately stated to Tasnim they are now on the verge of "cancelling" the negotiations completely.

Déjà vu all over again.

Only question is what we are waiting on.

Flood the region and populace with weapons and tell them to rise up They should have taken all that into account before starting this

Seems very likely to me something that was in the works didn’t happen and they pivoted. Don’t know if it was in part the weapons cache the Kurds kept, a high level defector who ended up not leading anti regime forces, a reneg by some other uprising leader. Hard to pinpoint. Maybe all of the above.

There was clearly lots of good planning initially and then we just sort of ran out of targets. So the plan had to have included something that didn’t materialize for whatever reason. Personally would have just kept bombing the smaller units and leadership when available to keep the pressure on but the damage to Arab infrastructure was putting pressure on us. We weren’t able to protect the region well enough for there to not be complications.

Just my two cents, but as soon as you took out their decades long leader to start this thing there is only one wait can end. If you don’t have the stones for the end you can’t do the beginning strike.

You don’t leave the same group in charge who were just taught a valuable lessons that ramping up their deference is the only way they can proceed.

have to post that in the OT thread about bashing unions, good to know that there's that much money available to "help out an old friend," especially after old friend has gone through the $17mill we gave him 6-7 years ago
