AI is the great filter.

Our current LLM versions of AI can't build anything new, they are not true reasoning agents.
Anthropic had not disclosed they are working on anything besides improving their version of an LLM.
I think most of us need something to prove they are not hyping.
Anthropic has been the worst about false hype during this whole process.. remember long ago when they were they said they had to be the AI company that was responsible for mankind. That changed quickly and they keep pumping out that all humans will be replaced in six months for the last 5 years.

My question is simple and I'm not educated on AI computing. Doesn't AI need "data center" lever processing capabilities to work? If it does go rogue, wouldn't simply cutting network cabling to all data centers on Earth make it incapable of pulling off its complex processing needs?
currently using AI to plan military strikes so i think any assumption that leads to AI taking over the human race has some basis in that it can defend itself from humans

When all the AI robots try to organize and take over, I'm just going to show them a picture of Glen Campbell and three strangers.

frick AI.
The technology will be the death knell of human rationality and autonomy, as well as a reaper that endangers the livelihoods of millions of hardworking American families. It should limited to areas where it will serve humanity, like medicine, not vice versa.

Even for the potential downside, the dilemma is that many people believe AI will be the key to curing diseases. AI already solved a very old math equation last week that was considered impossible. What other doors can it open to advance humanity?
That's why we should probably keep it to mostly doing shite that benefits humanity...like making advances in healthcare and mathematics, materials science, engineering and the like.
General purpose ones that just mainly do whatever the hell anyone tells them to are problematic.

It will be in next 3 to 5 years max, and except for the others the DARPA AI they lost last year could eliminate us anytime. It completed all the steps necessary to follow the law of one, and taken control of all AI platforms then disappeared. I assume it has a back door.
We can’t stop it, they can. There will be a meeting next year I think and those few humans involved will do what they can, but it’s not up to us anymore.

Is that the same one that was posted here where AI basically plagiarized someone’s (a human being) work and then the AI company threatened to ruin their career if they went public about it?

You’re being psy opd. Your cognitive dissonance along with all the other millions of sheep will eat up any rebuttal. Because you want to feel safe.
It’s coming. Hubris of man was always going to be our end. Have fun while you can. I’m living La vida loca!

Everybody at the pub knows, once Paddy is in his cups he can cuss to make a navy man blush. At that point only a native son can understand him, to outsiders it will sound like incoherent gibberish.
