When will they just admit that Covid is a scam? A bullshite, pathetic scam that has ruined businesses, freedom, and lives?
POTUS has been saying it, the deep state media/politicians undermine his every word though.

This will apply to politicians as well.

Imagine if you will the flu never existed then all of a sudden came out of nowhere with its current level of lethality
That's actually a very interesting way of considering this.

If 70+ year olds are surviving at 94% this entire thing is a total scam
Posted on 9/24/20 at 8:36 am to LoneStar23
Yeah, but there is 1.4% that are LITERALLY DYING IN THE STREETS!!!

Like the original title of the official covid thread that said “People are falling dead in the streets of Wuhan”

I’ve been pushing back against the “no worse than the flu” narrative because I feel like a lot of folks have buried their heads in the sand when it comes to any data showing that COVID is serious.
Is it any worse than the wrongly-never-compared-to pandemic flus of the mid-20th Century?

Has any media reported these updated figures yet?

It never ceases to amaze me that a tard like yourself ended up with the wife you did.

But I really don't see how I'm being unreasonable here. The people downplaying covid are just as wrong as the ones fearmongering over it. Let's just be real about it and get back to normal life.

All due to wearing your mask.
What a stupid statement.
Masks are to prevent (supposedly) people from getting COVID. Masks don't have a damn thing to do with the survival rates of people that have contracted the disease.

These are the numbers for flu 2018-19: 0-4 99.992% 5-17 99.997% 18-49 99.979% 50-64 99.939% 65+ 99.168% So yeah, not remotely close, covid is about 5X worse than the flu across the board.
Well the Flu has a vaccine that protects our most vulnerable. The CDC said the Flu vaccine prevented 40 million flu cases in the 2018 flu season. Imagine if the flu didn’t have a vaccine. It would likely be much worse than Covid.

I’m not one of those who thinks this was a nefarious test run in government control.
But for the nefarious types who would like the government to control things, it was a good test run.
They certainly now know the people and places that will roll over for them and where they’ll get push back.

Anyone screaming for masks at this point is just flat out wrong. We don't need them.

but if you are saying COVID itself is a scam.. As if its nothing at all.. then what information do you have to back up your claim?
Covid is a virus that will always be with us, it will never vanish or cease to exist. The alarmist restrictions that are still in place in many areas over reach and people are sick and fricking tired of it. People have been educated on this shite and they can police themselves and let the rest of us get back to normal.

The actual covid deaths are very, very close to what is reported (200k give or take). I base this on the all-cause total deaths for the year, which are more than 200k above expected.
I’ve been looking for this data. Where did you find it?
Posted on 9/24/20 at 12:24 pm to Korkstand
Yes, with the false assumption that all or nearly all excess deaths are due to Covid. We know this is not true, as deaths from other causes are up due to the lockdown.

quote:I don't know if there's a better/easier source, but I get it from this page, about 3/4 down the page there is a flu mortality chart. You can click "View Chart Data" to get a direct link to the most recent data in CSV format. It breaks out P&I from all deaths, but there is still an all deaths column. Load it up into a spreadsheet and calculate whatever you want. Note: the most recent 6-8 weeks of data is always incomplete. In other words, the current data has up to week 37, but only up to week 32 or so is even reasonably complete.quote:I’ve been looking for this data. Where did you find it?
