Oh. Well I guess it hit you a lot harder than it did me. We knew almost nothing at all about that character when it happened. Why were we supposed to care? Even by the end I didn’t know why I was supposed to root for the Eternals over the Deviants.

Another thing that held the Eternals back was ***semi spoilers but not really*** them trying to make you feel emotions for one certain character that you just didnt have enough time to care about. Lets base half of the movie on the eternals emotional response to a certain event. If they were planning on doing a sequel, I think that probably should have happened at the end of the movie, where you were able to build up that character to create a better emotional response from the viewer.
You’re probably right, but it’s funny, because I just watched it and am not completely sure to whom or what you are referring. I didn’t care for any of the characters or feel emotions for any of them.
Like said above, it was bland justice league but I think it felt like one of those syfy rip-off movies.

Iron Man 3 says hi. IM3 was just a straight up crappy movie. I like Guy Pierce, but that was an all time terrible villain. I cant imagine a dumber ending and the fight scene was laughably bad. Just not a good movie at all.
IM3 was as bad as you say, yes, but at least RDJ was his usual extremely entertaining self.
Eternals was worse. Eternals had terrible forgettable villains with barely any screen time. The protagonists and the actors playing them were all bland and forgettable. This needs to go the way of the Inhumans show and be ignored going forward.

This was by far the worst mcu film, and one of the worst movies I’ve seen in ages. It’s not worth watching either the movie or the end credits.

In some ways, I appreciate him not feeling like he has to treat his audience like they’re too stupid to figure out a complex plot. Here’s a little explanation and then y’all figure it out. In other ways, Tenet was the movie where he had gotten to smelling his own farts a bit too much. I like Tenet. Don’t get me wrong. In a year of pandemic suckiness, it was nice to have something fresh, but definitely his worst one. Still have never had any problems with his dialogue.
I don’t understand the supposed problems with his dialogue either. I’ve never had an issue understanding it.
As for Tenet, I consider it one of his best.

Absolutely. If he can’t pull the trigger he shouldn’t be captain.
This is a very typical Holden move throughout the show and books. He makes these sorts of calls all the time. Sometimes they don’t work out, sometimes they are what’s needed to save the day.

I finished the new book, and it was excellent. One of the best in the series. I thought this was the final book, but there is a new one slated for next year I believe.

I forced myself to get through the season 5 family drama, and am glad I did. It was exciting to see in the season 5 finale, the beginnings of Laconia and to actually see a vessel go Dutchman.

It’s probably been discussed and probably unavoidable but Kate’s total superhuman awesomeness at everything, including her ability to beat up big dudes, is tiresome. She’s basically an even less believable Widow.
What show are you watching? She screws up a lot and hasn’t won many fights.

Why are you laughing at hospitals getting prepared for a potential surge?
Because the surges have all been so exaggerated beyond belief. There have been tent hospitals and ship hospitals and church hospitals and dome hospitals that were set up over the past 2 years and largely gone unused.
Meanwhile there is actual floor space going unused in many hospitals at the same time. It has largely been a manpower shortage, not a bed shortage. This is now further exacerbated by the vaccine mandates.
The times of the “surges” have been some of the very slowest times for many health care providers, with few patients and little to do, because of the overreaction and shutting down of health care. The shut downs have harmed patients and harmed the resilience of the health care system.

Cinemark says they check vaccine cards and require masking if not vaccinated. Is this actually happening?

trying to act like FATWS was dog shite and it really wasnt, so that is why I said his take was bad. I'd be willing to bet he didnt even watch the whole series.
The main problem with Falcon was that the villains were terrible. They were boring and not well thought out. It is hard for any show to overcome that. The pandemic forcing a plot change did not help here. We were supposed to sympathize with them, as Falcon did, but they weren’t at all sympathetic.
Other problems were some bad secondary characters like his sister, misuse of winter soldier, and some forced wokeness (particularly the speech).
Strengths were a few well done flight sequences, Zemo, and John walker.
Hawkeye is far better in each category, particularly the villains.

Now we’re talking. Just don’t try to add any unnecessary elements and this will be amazing.

Luke Cage actor was fine. The show wasn’t great, and a good antagonist actor was wasted, but it was getting more interesting at the very end.
Iron fist actor was terrible and couldn’t fight. It was getting a bit interesting in the very end as well.
They could probably continue on with the same actors with better writing, direction, and fight training. Iron fist and Luke cage go better together in their limited time, so heroes for hire would have been a better way to go.
