re: Does Coach Freeman Prefer the 4-3 or the 3-4 as a Base Defense? - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 2:27 pm
e both are right. Im just saying I don't see that for us. Right now.
I can agree with that. I was more talking about from an alignment perspective and how run fits and coverages work. ... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Delete - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 1:15 pm If Raymond was capable of being a DC he would be one already. Talk to anybody inside the program they will tell you Raymond can recruit and coach Dbs but he's not DC material. ... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Does Coach Freeman Prefer the 4-3 or the 3-4 as a Base Defense? - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 1:09 pm
Not in a true 3-3-5.
Aranda is a 3-3-5 guy. Chaisson lined up on the LOS almost every play. 3 man front teams generally still have 4 guys on LOS in their base defense. Teams get into Tite fronts and some of that may change. The Tite front is somewhat new to college football and... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Does Coach Freeman Prefer the 4-3 or the 3-4 as a Base Defense? - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 1:07 pm
Obviously run fits will be different based on the number of down linemen
Down linemen isn't as important as where the guys on the LOS are. Gaps should be the same if 4 guys are on the LOS like most defenses start with. Your Mike is gonna be a strong A player in both defenses. Yo... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Does Coach Freeman Prefer the 4-3 or the 3-4 as a Base Defense? - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 1:04 pm
Not quite
A 4-2-5 and a 3-3-5 are almost exactly the same thing. In the 4-2-5 both end guys on the LOS have hands on the ground. In the 3-3-5 only 1 does. Alignment is pretty much identical in the base defenses. ... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Does Coach Freeman Prefer the 4-3 or the 3-4 as a Base Defense? - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 1:01 pm
3 down linemen have a little diff responsibility than 4 a lot of times.
You still gonna have 4 guys on the LOS either way. You gonna generally have a shade and 3 or 4i and two 5 techniques. Whether one of them is standing up or has his hand in the ground doesn't mean a whole lot.... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Does Coach Freeman Prefer the 4-3 or the 3-4 as a Base Defense? - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 12:46 pm
I hope so. I worry how BJ Ouljilri, Ali Gaye and Andre Anthony fit in a 3-3-5
BJ would be in a Chaisson type postion. Everybody talked about Aranda as a 3-4 guy but he was really a 3-3-5 guy. Rarely was LSU in a true 3-4 look when Aranda was here. Ali Gaye would play a the WDE p... Posted on Tiger Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Anyone play Titleist AP 1 718 irons? - redfishfan on 1/8/21 at 12:40 pm
Please share your feedback. Thx
Don't play them but I have hit the AP1's, AP2's and AP3's.
AP1's are a game improvement iron. Strong lofts. Forgiving. Not easy to work the ball with.
AP2's are more of a players iron. True lofts. Great feel. Easy to work the ball and e... Posted on Golf Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |

re: Most challenging skill: parallel parking, stick or driving backwards with a trailer? - redfishfan on 1/7/21 at 2:04 pm Backing in a boat trailer with no boat on it that you can't see is the most difficult. re: Do people not remember Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones? - redfishfan on 1/7/21 at 11:22 am
And defense is a big problem with Wade's teams.
re: Pelican Pointe Membership? - redfishfan on 1/6/21 at 11:11 am
U would have to know the noon group to understand that situation. They play fast on purpose.
Is it the hack in around on the fairway and when they get it on the green they all just hit putts as fast as they can and pick up 4 footers?... Posted on Golf Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Carter Plantation Conditions - redfishfan on 1/5/21 at 11:31 am
I love the layout at Cam2 but the greens are soooo small on the front 9.
Played it this summer twice. The greens are small but with the front 9 being short I think it keeps things fair. I bet the guys that play it ton are solid with irons. It's just a nice change of pace compare... Posted on Golf Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Pelican Pointe Membership? - redfishfan on 1/5/21 at 9:50 am
If u get in front of them and slow them down.... they will let u know about it real quick.
Let em play through. I can’t for the life of me understand why slower groups just don’t let faster ones through. If I’m ever playing with a group that has some beginner slower golfers I alwa... Posted on Golf Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

I’m not a liar so my 4iron goes about 215 if I catch it. This guy I’m talking about shoots under par 8/10 rounds I play with him. I watched him shoot 64 with my own eyes. He absolutely mauls the ball. You ain’t miss h... Posted on Golf Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
