Back in my time, you could get a soft taco for 39 cents. All the fast food places are to high. The workers wanted more money and still the service sucks. For forty dollars, can go to a Mexican restaurant and get better food for around the same price.

It's all in how you order. First of all, app orders are the way to go for almost every place. They are significantly cheaper and you get free items pretty quickly. You can get the classic luxe box which includes a 5-layer burrito, a taco of your choosing, cinnamon twists or nacho chips w/cheese or guacamole and a drink for $5 (extremely cheap ) or the deluxe box with 4 items and a drink for $7...also extremely hard to beat.

You can get a chalupa/burrito, taco, chips and cheese/salsa and a large drink for $8. Gotta use the app though.

It is still there, it's the Classic Luxe Box. Drink, 5 layer burrito, crunchy taco, and cinnamon twists. 830 calories as is with a diet drink.

Honestly the only inexcusable extortion they pull off IMO is how much they want to charge for chips and fake cheese sauce.

I'm looking forward the $1 Meximelts tomorrow. Order early, order often (they limit it to one an order but don't limit how many orders you can place). I'll be grabbing at least 10 (they reheat extremely well) and a few $1 nacho fries.

It almost seems cheaper to order a combo meal with a drink than ordering a la carte, even if you don't want a drink.
