If all of that happens before Winter, I guess I will be sitting at the house.

They don't get direct payments any longer. The feds back 90% of their loans with the banks. The banks are liable for the other 10%. If they have a bad year, they can carry over that debt in order to pay it off later.
The ones that know what they're doing and can manage money wind up becoming millionaires, and no longer qualify for 90/10 loans. The ones that try to live high on the hog wind up losing their asses. That's the basic way of putting it.
