Taco bell has lost its ever-loving mind

My daughter talked me into going to taco bell yesterday. I saw where they brought back the enchirito so I thought I would try it. She ordered two tacos and some cheese fry things, my son ordered two Doritos tacos and I ordered the enchirito. And we all got a small drink. Total order was $38 and change. 4 tacos 1 BS fries 3 drinks and a super small enchirito almost 40 bucks never again

Taco Bell fire sauce and the green sauce in the grocery stores is legit.
Make your own and use this stuff.
Also use Blue Runner refried black beans. It’s got spices in it that gives it a nice flavor. They have refried pinto but we like the black bean better.

Yep. I went 20 years without driving thru a Taco Bell but now I have a step-daughter that thinks it’s the French Laundry. I picked her up a couple of tacos and French fries (who knew Taco Bell had fries?) and it was $13. I couldn’t believe it.

It is still very cheap if you don't order like a retard. Make your own box for six bucks and still add other things for less than a $10 order

I used to love getting the 12 taco box (Cool ranch Doritos locos tacos - supreme) circa 2012ish. Was like $15 and I could go at midnight.
I think it's like $30 now. I was craving it a while back and after looking at the prices, we just got real restaurant food instead.

Hot Take: Taco Bell is and always has been terrible, but it was the only food we had like that. There are too many better fast casual Mexican options now to ever go back. Also, Waffle House is better drunk food, and you may get a show.

When I was young Taco Bell was the shittiest food, but you and a couple of drunk buddies could feast on $5-6 at 1am.

If you order all of their specialty stuff (the stuff currently being advertised on tv) you will pay out of your arse. If you just order normal stuff off their regular menu, you can get a meal cheap as hell, though.
