I did read it. But the bottom line is there are more trees on earth now than there were 35 years ago.
Yes, I understand it’s not old growth forest and I too agree that protecting natural forests like the Amazon, Congo, Pacific NW, etc is paramount to ensuring the planet is healthy. I’m a huge proponent of incentivizing integrated and regenerative farms vs mono crop industrialized farms.
I’m also not ideologically handcuffed to not be able to see that there is more plant biomass on the earth today than there was 35 years ago. That’s a good thing.

Humans were better versed in more disciplines back in history than we are today, but we are better in our specialities, on the hole, than the ancients were.
