It's not about just national championships... It's about fielding an l l s u caliber team, which this is not even close to... It's about being competitive with the worst of teams.Which this team has not been. Something is very very off this year.

The strain they are dealing with now is different than the US infections you cite...the US infections could not transmit human to human. This South American variant can..Fortunately, it takes a very long, close proximity exposure for this to happen.

So grateful to have been born and raised in Louisiana..It is unique. I love the culture, food , music, sports, and people...
I have been to all 50 states and lived in CA and TX...own property in AL. Louisiana is my favorite State by far....will split my time between AL and LA in retirement.
