yes it does. And if global climate models (which are run on AI) are predicting probable heat and drought conditions we probably would want to know about it in advance

Does this mean we’ll have a warm or cold winter?

Isn’t Ryan Maue the guy who tries to shock everyone with “historic ice and snow storm forecasted” in the winter too? I don’t think he’s a climate alarmist, just a shock value junkie.

I’m old enough to remember when we were supposed to be underwater by now.

thankfully the US government took mitigating steps that has helped us delay this eventuality.

we Americans are jaded to this sentiment because we are the richest and most temperate nation in the world. We have no comprehension of the conditions a great number of the world’s population lives in. If places that have water and thus high population densities become much hotter and much drier, it will be an inconvenience for us. It could be a humanitarian disaster in other places.

That is a completely apolitical situation

the ability of global climate models to shed understanding of future climate probabilities today would be considered divine prophesy 200 years ago. Now it’s just something to criticize and politicize when they are not exactly correct 100% of the time

It’s something worth discussing but not in the way the alarmist on Twitter do it.

It’s just to get clicks with no accountability.

depends on your point of view I guess. But certainly you accept that that is a subjective judgement
