It’s a little vague about exactly what will and what won’t require an account to view, but it’s becoming mostly login only.

Eh, Reddit isn’t really that political outside of the political subs and the state/city subs.

Twitter and Reddit both want that data. Required logins and will try anything to get you to install the app, which just serves a web page with spyware installed on the side

This is a revenue thing. X did it, several others are following suit. Want to see the content? You have to go all in and get an account. No more drive by viewing. With an account they're more likely to have more of your time.

It was happening for a while already then it stopped. I won’t sign up. But do like to peruse the subreddits for New Orleans bc you can find out what’s happening that the news isn’t reporting. Like last year or so there were a good bit of robberies that wasn’t on the news. Or the 2 vehicles I’m researching, I like to read forums and see what folks are really saying.
