Yes. Restaurant workers were being robbed if I recall. It’s liberal leaning like typical Reddit but for the most part it’s NO-related with some Nextdoor type questions mixed in. It’s not insufferable like the political subreddits. And of course when you need a chuckle, Zero Covid was a good peruse. The scams subreddit is also interesting.

you can go on r/Plumbing and it's like "I'm looking for a basin wrench - for context, I'm MTF and also neurodivergent, most of my tools are Rigid that I inherited from my abusive christian white supremacist step father..."

I like reddit because a general topic place with that many users is useful, but it's absolutely the most fringe 5% of any profession/fan base/interest group/hobby/etc.
