What subject does this board have a more infatuated interest in?
Tourney ball or GLP-1s?
Tourney ball or GLP-1s?

When I read people throwing this out there as a needed response to the weight issues in this country I know the people saying this are only a stone throw from supporting a Canadian style of health care where most people in need are denied treatment because they are too old, the disease is not advanced enough or they are just euthanized so as not be a strain on the system. Or at least pushed to euthanasia by coercion.

I’m going to start looking down on people that use anesthesia before having a procedure because they’re so fricking lazy. Get tough and do it the honest and hard way like the people before us did …. LuLz
Can’t some of you people just take the pain and not rely on medicine or science that improves their situation? What a bunch of LOSERS.
These people should just open their body up just like they did 150 years ago, the honest and hard way. While we’re at it, they can stop doing surgeries that use machinery or robots because what kind of doctors doesn’t rely on his hands to do a surgery? MY doctor should be experienced enough in old school tactics where’s he’s TOUGH and 1000% will never make a mistake.
Weak arse people.

The human body is meant to be active and ingest a certain amount of calories. These fat assholes go from eating 10000 calories a day to 500 without exercising or getting the nutrition they need so yeah they just look like shite before and after

You’re right. Maybe someone can chime in and let us know how long GLP-1s have been case studies.

It's great that they lost weight with Ozempic, im all for it. But...
1-the ones who do it with zero stregnthtraining end up looking frail and that may be unhealthy in the long run.
2-without a real lifestyle/diet change, they rebound pretty bad once the drug stops.
Ideally the shots should jumpstart the weightloss, and then you excercise and eat right to maintain health. Im all for it in that case.

They’re fire, just don’t like the ones who all of a sudden start posting a hundred selfies and photos of themselves after years of never posting a pic.

Government should be handing out ozempic for free. Would save the US billions and billions a year in healthcare costs

This. I have numerous patients that have gotten off all meds, gotten healthier and maintained the weight loss without the GLP'1's. Some well go back on for short time periods, others will do a low maintenance dose, but the goal is to get them off meds entirely.
You dumbasses act like this is a new thing. It just caught on mainstream in the middle of COVID, but the first one hit the market in 2005 and there were 10-20 years of studies prior to that. Ozempic goes off patent next year.
Trump is going to allow Medicare patients that qualify to get them for $50/month starting July 1st. I think we're getting an 18 month test run to see how skinny we can make America.
The benefits reach far past weight loss as well. I've had women with polycystic ovarian disease get pregnant and regulate their hormones with low doses. This saved them and the system tens of thousands of dollars or more for fertility treatments and eventually meds for diabetes and other issues related to the disorder.

Viewed by who? How would "they" know about the Ozempic? Sounds like a study by a bunch of proud fatties.

I see alot judging about people using ozempic or similar drugs - i honestly don’t care how people lose weight or the means it took them to lose the weight.
If they lose the weight and keep it off good for them.
I think half the battle is losing the weight and keeping it off can be just as difficult.

A simple google search would help you there.
