Coach O couldn't win at OleMiss.
Coach O had the best team in cfb history at LSU.

Because they buy the most tickets.

This dude didn't change after winning. Went from white trash to white trash with money.

Jayden wore #5 well; but both of his years here there was a defensive player wearing #5. Jay Ward (safety) wore it in 2022 and L Welch (cornerback) wore it in 2023.

Maybe there shouldn't be another QB with #5, but in this case JD should man up and tell his mama and her lawyer to calm down.

The math aint mathin. Glad I live in the south; our politicians know how to keep it "low rent".

Hard time for athletes who experience the “glory days” and then lose it.

quote:

To an Athlete Dying Young

By A. E. Housman
The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.

Today, the road all runners come,
Shoulder-high we bring you home,
And set you at your threshold down,
Townsman of a stiller town.

Smart lad, to slip betimes away
From fields where glory does not stay,
And early though the laurel grows
It withers quicker than the rose.

Eyes the shady night has shut
Cannot see the record cut,
And silence sounds no worse than cheers
After earth has stopped the ears.

Now you will not swell the rout
Of lads that wore their honours out,
Runners whom renown outran
And the name died before the man.

So set, before its echoes fade,
The fleet foot on the sill of shade,
And hold to the low lintel up
The still-defended challenge-cup.

And round that early-laurelled head
Will flock to gaze the strengthless dead,
And find unwithered on its curls
The garland briefer than a girl’s.

Coach Burl made us read that poem at Shaw...it's as true now as it ever was.
As an 80s student, I always liked those purple jerseys. Wish we wore them more often.

I have a couple pairs of costa C-mates readers. Love them, but open yo cheaper options when I loose these.

No. Ole Miss claims 3 national championships and at least one of them is legit. They went deep in the playoff last year. And they gave the sport the best family in football. They are historically much better than State.

That said, Go to Hell Ole Miss!
Im watching this tread because my 70 MinKota died last week too. As a coastal fisherman, one with spot lock seems to be the way to go. Especially since my boat didnt have an anchor pole.

A 70 or 80 24 volt spot lock seems like the ticket.

I use box blinds and ladders mostly. I also love walk n stalk with a folding chair...but a client that makes them gave me a saddle. I tried it and do not like hanging from ropes at 61 years old. Im giving that thing to my godchilds husband.

I used to like OleMan climbers when I was younger and shot plenty deer from them. Now as an actual ole man I like being closer to the ground.

I am fortunate to have made it to the final stage of a hunter. I am no longer compelled by letting the arrow go or pulling the trigger. That’s for the younger ones.

That's where I am, especially since having my own land. I enjoy seeing the seasonal changes and the forest growth each year. I enjoy seeing deer and not shooting. I enjoy watching all the birds and other wildlife. I even enjoy listening to the hounds chasing through the surrounding area.

I'm happy to kill a dear a year and hope the folks I invite get one.
Could you imagine the OJ case with social media around? We had to solve that shite around a water cooler.
I moved from the Westbank to buy a shotgun double near City Park in 1997. A friend I had grown up with said "You're gonna get shot!". I did hear gunshots a few times, but I'm still alive and well.

I avoided bad neighborhoods and never felt unsafe in New Orleans.
They are in our building downstairs and I love the fresh baked bread smell in early mornings and the smell of the meatballs later in the morning.

That said, it has to be raining hard on a day when I'm really hungry to go there. They are not my preference.

I don't think I could be rational as a parent in that situation...as a juror, I may give the mother the benefit of the doubt.

You can't underestimate the amount of foresight it took to for the founding fathers to base a country on something that would not exist for another century.
Yes. Lend to folks here legally.

And pre-approval should include checking the buyer's legal status. My sister was selling a house and got a great offer pre-approved by the bank and 2 days before closing the bank denied the loan because the buyer's H1B was expired. The bank didn't check that when they pre-approved the guy? Wasted 2 months of time on the market.
