re: Can we talk about Chris Blair?

Wow.
Marking time...I bought my 2015 truck that June and listened to Hawthorne's last broadcast on my way home and Blair was introduced. Over 10 years later some still dont like Blair and reminisce about Hawthorne. Blair is damn good.

I'll buy that. The Piney woods and the ag areas that had cotton plantations are truly The South. The rest of Texas is where the west begins; that or it's its own place altogether.

Yep. I flew out Tuesday and left home 4 hours before my flight because of all that hype. CLEAR had no line at all so the airline sent me on an earlier flight. I arrived in Htown so early I had to sneak into a hotel for free breakfast while killing time waiting for my appointment.

Missouri is in the Mid-West???
Yes, mostly.

Texas west of Missouri and Texas is in the South???
Texas is also SOUTH of Missouri and situated on the Gulf. So it is part of the south, but not "Deep South".

to the OP - I see the Mid south as the hilly parts of the south and includes the Appalachian region, the Ozark region and the lands in between. Parts of MO, AR, MS, AL, GA the Carolinas and all of TN would be mid south.

Is that possible?
I'm 60 and don't think about it.

My dad is 83 and sometimes talks about who is going to get what when he goes. He has been a cardiac patient since he was 40 and keeps on going, but facing death a few times made him think about it. It also made him sell a business, learn art and music and he has more friends and a better life now than when he was middle aged.
Damn, I didn't even know that was a thing; wasted $12 on a pizza after my daughter was born.
Wow! If it was just me I could survive in an 8x20 container cabin, but no way I could do 2 ft wide space.
Delivery assistant (and other odd jobs) at an appliance store. Since I didnt drive at first I was the navigator...(pre Gps) I had to find city streets with the old paper fold out grid maps.
My BIL didn't pass the test to be a postman. Now he supervises engineers.

Ratchet or Ratchetastic works here too.
6.5 credemore - yearlin whitetail.

44 mag single shot - 160# buck.

270 win - got caught in the rain and never brought it back to camp after a full cleaning.

"Drop"...am I the only one to initially think this means to abandon or quit using a word or phrase? Yeah, I realize it has 2 meanings now, but ambiguity sucks.

So they started saying "gunperson" instead of gunman for dudes in a dress that shoot the place up? That is crazier than a murderous homo and kinda ambiguous too.

I upvoted because its funny.

But we are in a coference where T A&M still thinks they are relevant because of a 1930s football national championship.
Atlanta is also split north / south.

NOLA is a rich and poor mosaic with the middle class mostly in the burbs/parishes.

BR in kinda split north to south but has a decent middle class in the goodqood/sherwood/broadmore section.
None of dat matters; we were pre-tournament national champs in 1935. Did the vols ever win it all or get to the final 4?
In fairness, he has only coached a few games and has yet to go through a full recruiting/portal cycle or build a team or staff.
He coached a team that Kiffin built, give it a season.
