Went to grammar/middle school with Sammy. Fastest kid on the westbank fa sho! Loved watching him as a Tiger.

Not likely, I'll be 111 years old.
My retirement planning only funds me through 99 years old, so I'll be a po ole man if I'm around.

re: First LSU game I attended

My 1st game was my freshman year; 1983 against FSU. My paw paw had engineered parts of Tiger Stadium and the dorms; my mom had attended a year at LSU before finishing at LSUNO; but we never went to games and listened to every game on WWL unles there was a rare TV game.
That night I was amazed at Mike the Tiger, the Golden Band from Tigerland, the chearleaders...and then FSU wooped our butts. Didn't matter, Cross country teamate from Barbados introduced me and a buddy to weed later that night and all was goood. Bad year for football.
The next year Arnsparger, with the help of some Shaw freshmen, turned it all around.

I've always been kind of a paw paw and now I'm a real paw paw to 4. Both of my kids have careers, spouses, children and houses and are happy as pie.
They all love the woman I now love. If I had listened to mama and left LSU to finish at UNO, I may have met this woman when we were both young. But I lived life my way, had 2 divorces and met her in my 50s. I'm really considering jumping in with both feet and a big diamond ring. 60ish ain't too old for love.

Speaking like that in the USA? Remind him of the 1st amendment, first. Then allow zero protection for subversive views...death to traitors.

My GF asked me Sunday about getting her an engagement ring soon and followed up with "...don't you want to mark your territory?" Apparently "I did dat last night." was not the response she was looking for.

One of my clients is a shrimp processor down there. Over 90% of his Gulf shrimp are bought off local Vietnamese boats. They really took over what Bubba had.
How can you say

You think going off on random dudes in social setting is good or even normal?
What you describe and what we saw in the video here is POS behavior.

I live on the water near Bayou Sauvage/Chef Pass. There are no-see-ums everyday around dawn and dusk for a couple hours. There are deer-flies if you go near any tree. Jogging in the neighborhood at dawn or dusk is rough. When I first moved out there I fished 3-4 times a week and loved it. Now I just take an occasional paddle to catch a bass for dinner or head out with a neighbor to drink a beer and catch a redfish or three.
With working on the road, maintaining my timberland/deer camp, and having grands in other towns, I don't fish that often anymore. Great neighbors ends up being the best part of living on the water.

Last time I sprinted I was in Hey Dudes; that was just a bunch of neighbors racing each other at the suggestion of a 13 year old. I beat everyone but the German Shephard and the 13 year old but I do not recommend them for running.

In all seriousness, what does the UK produce and give to the world?

I took a walk on the new 40 acres of harwood I bought and found a tick during my shower after. I think the head popped off when I picked it off me. Sore lasted a week, and another sprung up 2 weeks later. That one spread a wide bright red circle on my beltline and swelled up a lymph node. Itch and pain...
Benadryl and ibuprofen got it under control in a couple days. Didn't have to call my doc.

I went one time when the baseball team was still the Indians. I was impressed with the downtown bar scene and Jacob's Field.
My work buddy in NOLA is from there, misses it a lot, and returns every chance he gets.
It aint as bad as people say.

re: Has anyone here ever attended a tie football game?

I was at the 14-14 tie against Alabama in Tiger Stadium in 1985 and it was almost as frustrating as a loss.

My buddy has land outside LasVegas NM on the edge of a national forest. Beautiful area with Elk, other wildlife, hills, trees. It was cheap and decade ago...not about now.
As a former HS track athlete, frick this guy and I hope he gets a max sentence. There is no place for weapons or even violence in the sport. I wish the death penalty on him, but at 17 he will probably get 20.
I will love seeing the tears of his sympathizers when he is convicted.

Sometimes my dad tells me what his brokerage account is up to...my net worth will double when he and mama pass.
So no, nothing too significant.
