I disagree. A fat person cheating to get skinny is still better than a fat person IMO

When you get to the point of where the risk of doing nothing is worse than the risk of doing something, get on the drug.

If someone has been fat for their whole adulthood, or became fat and cannot manage cutting weight and maintaining health, then go for it.

It just looks like laziness to many people.

If you’re one of these gigantic people who are gargantuan, then yes, they need help.

But if you’re a regular guy who just won’t stop stuffing your face with McDonald’s and Taco Bell, I can see how people would resent someone for it.

It’s like riding one of those scooters in a store just because you don’t feel like walking.

Everything in life has a cost.

This is a fundamental truth and we all know it.

Mentally weak people that take the easy way out and intervene on their pour diet choices that feed their mental disorders and never do the work to improve the mental disorder that lead them to get that obese in the first place will revert back to the mean, only with modern pharma running through them.

What’s the worst that could happen?

They fail to mention that GLP’s make you nauseated to keep you from eating and/or give you diarrhea and you shite yourself at inopportune times. You must be on them forever or you will blimp out again.

A few women were evidently on them at our high school reunion last year. They had never been fat but now they looked like skeketors.

I really don't give a sh*t how somebody loses the weight. If they are smart about nutrition and excercise while they're on the shots and end up healthier than they were before it's a plus.

I know guys who blast test and tren non stop who bitch about ozempic being cheating

I fly a lot. GLADLY prefer someone beside me that has been taking Ozempic than the hugenormous person that has no control over what they are eating and are spilling over the arm rest.

Anyone that is trying to make themselves look and feel better has my support. If modern chemistry helps out with that... Good for them.

It just insecurity.

For some reason, certain people feel as though their weight loss is diminished because someone else lost weight a different way.

They can't just be proud of themselves. They have to tear down others as well.

Its infantile behavior.

And every other gym bro is currently on reta, but they will all mock Ozempic

I have a buddy who we have vacationed and camped with their family for over a decade, who had an a1c in the teens and now is mid 5's and sugar blood levels 100-110, he lost 74 lbs and off 3-5 different meds. He is working out to offset the muscle loss, but it changed his whole life. He is taking mounjaro I believe. You can see more confidence and a healthier dude. I'm not going to shame folks if it can offer results like this.

The strain obesity has put on healthcare costs is astronomical. When we would camp he didn't like the hikes and rarely went. Now he is walking and hiking. His kids have a whole new dad that is physically present in their lives. I initially told him to not take that shite, but I am seeing a new person.

I'm a runner. Fortunately, I've never been overweight.

But I have seen a lot of people who were overweight who do get into exercise, specifically running, and lose their weight.

They also sometimes look hollow. That is a consequence of losing a lot of weight quickly.

And by no means am I suggesting overweight people should not exercise. I definitely encourage it. Just take it slow and easy.

People actually do that?

When I go to a store, I purposely park further out because I enjoy walking.

20-35% of weight lost for, say, a loss of 70 pounds is from lean mass.

We need to overhaul food systems here.

People don't need beef and pork. Have a steak and/or bbq once or twice a year. Eat chicken, turkey, eggs and fish instead. In fact, skip meat for at least one meal a day and perhaps even a day out of the week. You really don't need as much protein as the influencers are telling you. Eat some fricking beans and legumes.

Don't eat junk (any kind of processed foods) and drink sodas. Stick to water. Have a dessert one day out of the week. Cut your booze down to 1-2 drinks every other day or two.

Open your door, walk outside to a destination for 10 minutes and return. You'll be surprised how over time, how much your body will want to go further and faster.

If we all did this, there would be no obesity and almost no bad health. It's so fricking simple. If you followed this and didn't have any genetic predispositions, you might live to 100 but will anyone do this? Hell no.

Anyways, it won't happen because everyone is such a fricking slob today.

I dont understand the hate Ozempic users get. The drug is overall successful in just about everyone that uses it.
