Man if that is the biggest discipline issue the school has, they should count themselves lucky.
Kids bringing actual drugs to school and weapons would concern me more.
I suppose we should suspend a kid for making a “finger gun” gesture too?

Just a kid being a kid. Ignore the stupidity of the school administrators who overreact for everything. Give him a hug and move on with life.

Yep. And the OP should thank God his kid isn’t like me. Bought my 1st pack of Marlboro reds at the age of 6 so I was probably just 5 when I 1st shoplifted a pack (those were Viceroy).
