He should have been given his medicine, though.

The police probably have to verify that the meds are really what he said they were first.

I don't really care though.

Sounds a lot like Diamond "lavish" claims.

Which were proved totally embellished.

Sucks to be the wrong guy, but I guarantee cops had a reason

Hopefully they can read a prescription sticker on a bottle/vial and use Google.

That's terrible. He could have died. You know, like those three police officers who died. Sorry you had to spend 9 hours in slight discomfort on a Sunday.

I can tell you be names of most prescription pills with a 10 second Google search... They are identified on the pills themselves

I think I read about cops screaming on the scanner about a diabetic emergency and needing help for it.

Someone on this thread posted about it. I'm sure that's what it was about.

Actually that isn't the job of the police. It is the job of EMS, who was called and responded. Based on his condition, according to the story, they took him to the hospital and he is fine. Sounds like everything worked the way it should have.

If this guy is sincere, he will accept their apology and explanation and move on with life. But what will really happen is that some scum lawyer is going to convince him to sue for millions. Out taxes will go to defending the suit, our taxes will pay the lawyers, our taxes will go to paying him a pre trial settlement and all the lawyers will profit.

He already acknowledged that his cousin, who was a cop died in the shooting, and that he had no clue of what was going on.

My point flew over your head.

It's a legit question that has been answered otherwise he wouldnt be free right now.

That would be really fricked up, but yeah even if he hasn't yet there's probably lawyers lining up to look at his case.

If he has so many relatives on the force why not ask one of them if how he was treated was just before going on social media to rile up the BLM? Ridiculous. 6 cops were shot and he was wearing clothes similar to the suspect, why does he think a whopping 10 hours of his time is unreasonable?

Sucks that he went through it, and they should have gotten him a nurse. Otherwise, the system worked and innocent black guys were let free.

What are the chances this guy is meeting with a lawyer today? I'm putting it over 90%.

Something similar happened to me the night before christmas in like 2006. Wrong place wrong time.

I didn't sue. I did tell the sheriff to get every single officer involved to personally apologize or I would sue.

13 hours in jail for being white on an all black shift.

Is his Facebook picture of him lying in the hospital bed after this ordeal?

I'm happy he's awake at 5:51 AM, probably getting ready for work, just needed to clear his head.

Sucks that he was thought of as a person of interest, but you know..that's what cops do they detain suspects until they are sure they are not involved, which takes time. BRPD/LA St Troopers weren't going to release suspects before they were 100% positive.
