No but as an Argentina fan I can tell you that Dibu needs to do better. He is arguably the worst keeper in the teams left.

Dude it’s in the rules. Take it up with the rules committee
What good does this board think a 6’7 player would be in the midfield? The penalty box alone is larger than an NBA court. Would JJ Watt be 280+ pounds if he had to run like professional soccer player does? I really don’t get it.

Dennis Bergkamp wasn’t even average when it came to speed but he’d make you look like you had never touched a ball before. The game is so much more than being “really really fast and athletic”.

The Soccer tards will continue to pretend that Jamar Chase or prime Julio wouldn’t outpace and physically dominate random Belgians
What good is running as fast as a bolt of lightning if you can’t keep the ball at your feet
Agreed. But how would you feel about going back to Golden goal
Why would you shoot it like that lol

Again that’s a different referee team (from Egypt ) and a different VAR team. Go ahead and take it away so Argentina only wins 1-0.

I believe he's talking about the Austria game and he's correct, same situation, no call.
 a different ref team and different var team. Are you mad they got it right today?

This nails it.
It’s a huge part of it. Clubs aren’t incentivized to truly develop a top player because there is no juice in that squeeze. The money is getting a bunch of high middle class parents to pay $280 per month so you can train players 3 times a week so the kids can beef up their resumes for college

The Swiss players look strong.
re: Can someone explain formations to me

It matters because the formation determines your responsibility on the pitch. It is no different than football plays where everyone has a specific assignment. The formation allows players to trust where they are going to be in relation to each other on the pitch.
Embolo is a frightening figure up top

And so were the two in Egypt in one play and both in the box before Argentina scored the goal.
Link them. I honestly had to stop watching at the 77th minute bc of work

He stomped on the foot and pulled the shirt to get the ball for the counter. Die on that hill if you want

The refs for Argentina today were from France. Does the corruption only flow one way

The foul was suspect, but within the rules. Should have been called earlier. Egypt got their goal in the next few possessions. Not sure what other call you're complaining about.
VAR has ALWAYS been used like this. Why is everyone acting like it’s new? We encourage refs to allow the play to continue so they don’t stop a goal in progress, and then review after.
