I remember this guy. I used to work at Albertsons with him years ago. He's a really good guy. It's real unfortunate that he went through this.

When the stuff his the fan like yesterday, these things will happen. I bet you he was not the only one dealing with that kind of an evening.

Medicine part kind of sucks, but the process sometimes has false positives.

For sure. Unfortunate, but I'm sure he will be understanding of the situation at hand as far as how long he and his friend were detained. Sucks, but with something this serious, I'm sure the department had to mind their P's and Q's. I would also imagine that the police department was thankful for he and his friend's cooperation in the matter.

Then what the hell was the explanation for him & another guy changing out of all-black clothes at Walmart?

I'm sure it was a great inconvenience to him. No doubt. And if his story is true, maybe the police could have handled their investigation better and provided better accommodations.

However, his ordeal is just an inconvenience. He is still here today to talk about it. And that's a big difference.

An apology from law enforcement can make this right for him. No apologies from the shooter can bring back the lives of those that died yesterday in Baton Rouge.

Agreed. He should have been given his medicine, though.

If he's been released, that means he was cleared out. Why do you care?

As for the OP, shite happens. The medicine part is unfortunate, but with the chaos of the whole situation it's understandable.

Sux about his meds. The rest of it is just part of the process in a tragic ordeal like this.

Surely he can understand the gravity of the situation.

I agree and just hope that the agencies involved make an effort to get to the media and clearly state the facts of what happened. If this happened to me I would like to think I would be forgiving but would definitely expect the record to be set straight in a very public manner. I also hope the appropriate officials reach out with a sincere apology.

Lots of talk about doing away with hate and everyone getting along. This would be a great place to start.

Why do you care that I care?

It's a legit question. It was a bizzare coincidence to say the least. Weren't they even in a car similar to one spotted at the scene?
