I wonder why he didn't comment on the accusations of them suspiciously changing clothes. You would think he would have said "we never changed clothes" or "I sharted"

I also hope the appropriate officials reach out with a sincere apology.

Lots of talk about doing away with hate and everyone getting along. This would be a great place to start.

Agree 100%. Once the dust settles and the department has grieved, I would like to think something along those lines would happen.

I'm happy he's awake at 5:51 AM, probably getting ready for work, just needed to clear his head.

That was the time on my phone dude. The post itself was probably from 11ish at night.

I'm willing to bet the "gas station receipt" proving his alibi was the circle K next to the police station. If that was me I would have posted the location of the said "gas station"

Pretty fricked up that they didn't get him his insulin. Also, sort of a weird connection that he knows one of the people killed yesterday.

Yea. Also weird that even with his uncle being a corporal with BRPD, his dad being a deputy sheriff and two other uncles and aunts are deputy sheriffs, he was still detained that long. I would like to think that would be information you share with them to possibly help your situation, or at least, move your situation along a little quicker....

If he had been given his meds, or even if he had not had a medical condition, I somehow feel that we'd have still heard some kind of tale of victimization from him this morning.

In light of yesterday's extraordinary events, I just can't feel that sorry for him. Second-guessing the efforts of law enforcement personnel is a large part of what got us all here.

No excuse. Good guys become bad guys. One reason black people don't like/trust cops and one incident that the cops have control over.

FYI, I'm considered a boot licker by most but when they wrong, they wrong.

That's terrible. He could have died. You know, like those three police officers who died. Sorry you had to spend 9 hours in slight discomfort on a Sunday.

That's a retarded statement

Then what the hell was the explanation for him & another guy changing out of all-black clothes at Walmart?

Dad is a deputy sheriff? Uncle is a corporal with BRPD? Cousin was a victim? All these other family members in law enforcement?

I'm not calling the dude a liar, but this doesn't make sense.

So they shouldn't have been looking for that car? I'd rather them chase all leads down ASAP

Just spit balling, but if you just happened to be dressed in all black when the radio announces a manhunt for a cop killer dressed in all black, wouldn't a change be prudent?
