Talk about a knee jerk reaction to one incident. I love how this one incident turned the police dept into a violent blood thirsty gang. Ridiculous. I hope it passes and the city collapses.

So get rid of the city police and hire mall cops. I'm guessing the county Sheriff office would be the ones actually picking up the slack.

Sir, I understand you would like to rape this poor defenseless woman, but can we get you to reconsider your position?
Thank about her family. You wouldn't want that to happen to your family member would you?
Not persuaded, ok.
Sorry Ma'am, there's nothing we can do. We tried outreach but he's still intent on raping you. Good luck.
Unlike Europe, the people still have guns. That will do more in a sudden scenario like that better than calling the cops. Is the attacker supposed to pause while she makes the phone call?

Well their shitty police department is what caused this messed but let’s see how this turns out for them. I would avoid going to Minneapolis if this does happen.

I wonder how much the crime rate would rise if no one could arrest anyone?
THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. Look up Baltimore crime stats after the Freddy Gray debacle. Baltimore PD absolutely quit patrolling or arresting anyone in the high crime areas. And this wasn't police throwing a hissy fit, this was at the direction of the Mayor and Police Chief.
The crime rate, especially homicides, went through the roof and the city is now in a downward spiral crisis that they can't seem to get out from under.

So, if one politician does something illegal, can we replace ALL politicians with who I want?

My city has public safety officers. They basically just run off the homeless people a d try to help keep the streets clean and help tourists. They go home at like 10pm tho

As I have said since the beginning of all of this, this is America and you get what you vote for.
I am against federal involvement into these matters. Let these communities do what they want. Good luck to them. No bailouts if their experiments go wrong. Good luck.

I like it.
I want to watch what happens if they try it.

Guess having a racist black police chief is tough for the community.

Boy.
I'm sure the Minneapolis police department morale is real high now.
They're gonna do all they can to protect lives and property.

So what do they do with murderers and rapists?
Posted on 6/3/20 at 9:34 am to Fun Bunch
No more murder, death, kills!

I think that is a microcosm of what is about to happen nationwide in large cities.
I think for the most part small communities will move on as they have been, but I think the large metropolis' of the US are going to take a hit certainly in crime, population, and business. On the business side I think you will see more businesses hiring 3rd party security contractors especially if they want to stay in cities like Houston, NYC, LA, Atlanta, etc.
