And replacing it with a "non violent public safety and outreach" program.

So, what are we doing when there's a murder?

Sitting the perp down and having a stern talking?

All of the home corporate offices would bolt quickly.

I work for a company that has an office of about 300 employees in Minneapolis. The office is a few miles south of where the rioting occurred.

Last week internet service was interrupted several times overnight due to the fires. Telecom companies didn't want to send in repair techs so those offices remained offline for hours during the day. With everyone WFH it's a bad thing when no one can VPN into the office.

Talk about a knee jerk reaction to one incident. I love how this one incident turned the police dept into a violent blood thirsty gang. Ridiculous. I hope it passes and the city collapses.

This idea is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, but let's not act like Minneapolis PD hasn't had 3 high profile killings of unarmed people in the last like 2 years. This PD needs to be completely reformed and purged.

No, they just think they are serious.

All these folks hate police only until they need them.

On a good note, there's no need to wonder what the community would look like without a police department.

Talk about plummeting property values!

If this happens it will be a mass exodus of residential and businesses...
