I thought I’d be happy being married and having kids and man am I happier than I ever thought I’d be with both. Yea there’s hard moments but man there’s nothing like coming home at the end of a day at work to the love and affection of my family. Or waking up on the weekend and realizing I get to spend the whole day with my favorite people. Shits awesome.

This is pleasant news. However, there is a lot of ground to make up. At the peak of the "golden age" of shopping malls in 1990, there were roughly 2,000 of them scattered across the United States. Now there may be as few as 700 here in 2026.
Half of the smaller city’s that had/have malls probably didn’t/don’t need them.
