No, bro. It's not. If you want to be overly cautious, put every male, of every color, in prison between the ages of 15 and 30, ultimate safety in the USA!
And you gloss over the fact that we created a massive incentive for every medical establishment to flag any sickness or death as "with COVID" for increase reimbursement rates. Decapitated in a motorcycle accident while having COVID? Counts as a "COVID death." Die of cancer, with COVID? Same thing.

my disgusting, fat trailer trash cousin posts the dumbest shite about medicine/health, but in the right wing way. i hate being associated with athat

It’s exactly why Fauci needs to be put on trial.
He destroyed the trust in public health and the medical community and he did it knowingly because he thought it would save a few lives from Covid.
The dumbass failed to realize how many lives he will cost for the next generation of people that don’t trust the medical community at all.

Hard disagree. Social media, politicians, and the news destroyed trust in public health in order to make a few bucks or get their ugly faces on TV.

The thing that pisses me off the most about the COVID stuff is how guidance provided weeks after the pandemic began is now used as proof that the CDC didn't know wtf they were doing. I mean, do people think these diseases come with user guides? You've suddenly got people getting very sick from a novel virus and you're in charge of trying to protect the public. You know it's a contagious disease. Should they really be criticized for encouraging social distancing, masks, and hand washing to control the spread? Did it make sense to shut down schools before they knew what they were dealing with?
When the virus first appeared and masks were in short supply, Dr Fauci said the public didn’t need masks. When they shut down churches, schools, the fricking beach, etc…you could still go to Home Depot or Dollar General etc…
It didn’t make sense then and doesn’t now.

I don't know, I guess I'm of the opinion that being over-cautious is better than not being at all cautious when dealing with a novel virus which is resulting in American deaths. I certainly don't believe their action/inaction should have become a fricking political argument, nor should it have led to any dismissal of trust in our scientific institutions.
The above type of regulations and waffling back and forth created cognitive dissonance amongst the American Public. The people in charge never admitted they were wrong and/or outright lied for other reasons.

All that aside, we have become a pill driven country due to marketing and greed, and that is very sad. People dancing and celebrating a drug on television that we take because we don’t want to eat healthy and exercise.

Congrats on the future retarded grandkids because you injected your kids with 37 boosters to beat the common cold.

quote:"science" as a noun comes from the latin word for knowledge. that's all it is.
Not on religious terms like the Woke believe it is
quote:no scientist believes that anything is ever "settled", certainly not based on "no evidence", thus your einstein/newton example. so you already knew that and are just bloviating.
But these same clowns will say the science is settled and to do as you’re fricking told even if they have no evidence backing that up.

COVID fricked us so much worse than the millions it killed.
The level of distrust of the medical industry and science is out of control.
The CDC and WHO have only themselves to blame for this with their overreach and confusing instructions during the pandemic.
However, the quacks have used this as an opportunity to promote and indoctrinate people with absolutely batshit ideas.
I can't tell you how many people suggest homeopathic "remedies" to me now when me or one of my kids is sick. Homepathy is complete horseshite. The ingredients are so diluted they do absolutely nothing.
And FB is rife with moms who think their non-verbal autistic kids have mold poisoning or some other boogeyman rather than just accepting their kids have a debilitating mental impairment.
This morning I saw a post about flu going around the schools and the number one liked post was someone telling a mom to not give their kid motril but rub a fricking potato on their foot and put garlic in their socks.
We are so fricked. Whether you believe big pharma and Fauci/Gates, etc., are evil, the alternative quacks are no better.
AI is only going to make it harder to find the truth. The Russian propaganda plan is very effective. Throw so much shite at the wall that no one knows what to believe and just throws their hands up and gives up.
TLDR Health authorities and politicians fricked up the pandemic health response so badly; complete nutjobs have taken over as the authoritative voice in medicine.
all true

Naturopathy is probably the way to go. Just use common sense and know that you can't improve on what God already gave us like vitamins, sunlight, exercise.

How many epidemics do you think the CDC has managed?
The problem is with the American people, we value our liberty too much to just do as we're told - even if it were in our own best interests. 3rd world countries have citizens who are used to do what they're told by the government. That's why the CDC's infectious disease protocols work so well there.
