Modern medicine is incredible. Now that being said the pharmaceutical industry is trying to make money so the whole idea is to prescribe as much medicine as possible.
As a country we need to just be healthier. The food needs to be better, and people have to be more active. For minor situations there's plenty of at home remedies that will help with digestion, blood pressure, and inflammation. If you have something seriously wrong you go to the doctor. The issue is the Emergency rooms are filled with people who have a cold, or are so overall unhealthy they can't function.

Just don't put the leeches on your pee pee !!!!!!
That one did not work, and the side effects are worse than ozympic.

A mixture of Western and natural serms to be the best option to this Nurse....You sound like a butthurt physician.

Well there are people in this thread who believe if you swap your canola oil for beef tallow and stop eating vegetables that your skin will become immune to sunburns

I pray we dont have deadlier and as easily spread as Covid 19 type of pandemic in the next decade. It may be something that we really need to try to contain as quickly as possible but most wont listen.

The biggest problem is the pharmaceutical industry runs the medical industry. I can't tell you how many 'friends' I have in the medical/pharmacy community who shouted how safe this Covid vaccine is. Guaranteed it. Their reasoning behind it was because they researched it.
They didn't research shite. What they did was read a pamphlet or sheet the pharmaceutical company put out on it saying how safe it was. That's not researching anything. That's blindly believing. Once you start seeing how pill sales driven the doctors are, it's hard to believe they're doing anything but drug dealing.
Homeopathic remedies do not work near as good as the pharmacy. Only an idiot would suggest that. However there are very good things that people used to do naturally to solve medical problems. Is it as good? NO. But I can also understand why someone would want to try and abstain from a fist full of pills every day as well.
Unfortunately we don't really have the truth when it comes to science anymore. Scientists are driven like Pavlov's dog towards the money. That's how you get to the point where we are now. Science is never settled, but their politics are. One of the biggest things we can do is eat healthier. But even that pyramid has been skewed. So who the frick are we to believe now?

My favorite is the rush to zero vaccinations. I don't get it.

TLDR Health authorities and politicians fricked up the pandemic health response so badly; complete nutjobs have taken over as the authoritative voice in medicine.
I certainly don't pretend to be a medical authority nor have all the health answers one could seek, but I absolutely have a hard time trusting doctors today on certain issues, particularly when it comes to the prescribing of pharmaceuticals.
That's not to say I won't take medicine if I'm sick or have an infection but relative to long term health, I have a hard time buying what they're selling. We're prescribing more drugs like statins than ever and pushing seemingly antiquated food pyramid logic on folks and yet we're fatter, more disease ridden and sicker than we've ever been. Couple that with the outright lies about the safety of certain drugs they pushed during covid and my trust in them is almost irreparably burned.

Unfortunately our media also took every chance they could to misrepresent any and everything that was said about covid. I don't care what "side" you're on, they did their best to concoct the perfect cocktail of getting people fired up about how bad the other side was and making people feel enlightened about their choices. People around here still get high on that shite.

There always have been alternate forms of medical remedies.
No mater how crackpot you think they are if that's what someone believes and it does endanger lives you should be free to do whatever you want.
This is where the problem comes when the government tells you you need to do something and it's all a lie because of money.

This is indisputable yet the medical answer seems to be do the same thing with different drugs. Makes absolutely no sense

This is what I try to do. Eat as many things that are as natural in form to the way God made them as I can, exercise at least some everyday and limit my alcohol and cigar use.

Yep. And if you question it or want further explanation, you're treated like you're the problem. I had a doc put me on a statin a while back and it made me feel like absolute death. Even screwed up my mood too. I was depressed and felt generally awful. Quit taking them and my mood and body felt much better. There's so much conflicting info on things like cholesterol and statin use that it's hard to now who to believe anymore.
