RIP Lambda Chi and Theta Xi. Rumors abound that GOAT Kappa Sig could be next due to some summer time shenanigans not yet made public.
The pussification continues…
So weak.

Spam and eggs is good.....if cooked. Spam with chow mein from the can drenched in (swimming) tabasco is a new experience I assure you.

Yes, something about frying SPAM in a pan make it so addictive

At my age my doctor limits my salt and sugar
Have to buy SPAM Lite and the salt in Tabasco is a no no. I still grow hot peppers in the garden fro my heat addiction, but no added salt. Ketchup is similar with too much sugar. Love maters but ketchup is off limits now.
Gettin old is not for sissies but it does mean adjusting to the food you eat.
*sigh*

Yeah, I swore off fried foods entirely about 4 years ago and I make it a point to have a vegetable only meal about twice a week. My A1C went from the beginning of pre diabetic all the way down to just about 5. I still have dessert every Sunday though.
I found a good recipe for vegetable enchiladas which was really good...and a Mushroom pasta that kicks arse. I'm also a sucker for baked sweet potato as a meal.....but I've liked that since I was a kid
Had to give up mayo, vow put oil and vinegar on in place of it or I make a hot giardinera Never a big ketchup fan though

“ The weakest” liked it Doc, and that’s all that really mattered.

Angela Guillory is a horrible human.
After dealing with her that is the same conclusion that I came to. But I always wondered how much of it was her and how much of it was because she was doing as she was told to do.
Even worse was Bill Jenkins. I don't know what most people thought of Kathleen Blanco as governor but when she fired him it endeared her to me.

I was in the area and drove by the see the KE house. I forgot how nice Lamba Chi was then saw Pike on it and was confused.
My favorite is how DG is currently at the DKE house while they redo/rebuild their house. They're using the DKE "chapter room" (hazing torture chamber) as their dining hall
Those poor girls can't even imagine what things have gone on in that room. I mean i've slept in the bedrooms in the DKE house. I hope, for the DG's sake, they put some major $$ into remodeling while they're there.
Heard they got a priest to come bless the place

Here’s the real low down:
For whatever reason, in 2015 a group of alumni determined that Baton Rouge was the ideal retirement locale. The ringleader was an Ernest Hemingway impersonator.
The chapter had been severely lacking in alumni support and there was a general malaise, which Ernest and his ilk promised to remedy.
Once they realized the levels of debauchery the chapter had descended to, they thought to remake it in their image. Unfortunately, they began doing so by naively blowing the whistle to Greek Life, who promptly called Nationals. That was 10 strikes too many and Nationals pulled the plug.
The house was sold to Pike for something like $800k, plus a substantial donation to TAF, which I’m 100% positive that none of the aforementioned alumni benefited from.
RIP in Peace Uzi
