Almost fought a guy in Albertsons for cutting him in the line for deli meat. I was probably 10 and this rough looking dude from the hood needed to be taught some manners, but man was that scary. A Marine with 3 or 4 J&B’s and ice by lunch time was just the man for the job. The guy made all kinds of threats but when my dad handed me his watch, the guy left. Need more people like him that don’t put up with bs to be honest. Also saw him shoot 2 buzzards from tree with 1 12 ga shot going about 30 mph in a boat with at least a dozen miller lites in him. Maybe not as cool in retrospect but it was a different time. Lots of actual impressive responsible things and he gave up drinking (which is probably the most impressive with how much he drank) but those are boring. Can’t imagine having a better dad tbh.

Crap you’re right I’m sorry. My Hilton app led me astray and I wasn’t paying attention. It gave the option for Wrigley field then put a pin downtown. I went to 2 games last year and stayed at Hotel Versey that was about a mile away and it was an easy walk to the stadium. I’m sure there are easy ways to take the train from other places. I was just more comfortable walking to and from the hotel.
