They were required to take urine tests, which they took and over 98% passed

Absolutely false - I was intimately involved with the closure of the chapter - the national fraternity sent letters to every member of the chapter stating that they had seven days to go to a drug testing center in downtown BR and submit a hair sample - if they refused, they were automatically expelled- nobody went - chapter was shut down

This is not true, I was a LCA and my brother was in the chapter when it was shut down. He and the rest of the chapter took urine tests and they were never asked to take a hair test.
I’d love to hear about how you were “intimately involved”. Did you work for the university or the LCA nationals? Were you a member of LCA at LSU?

I am a LXA alumn - father was a LXA - two sons were LXA - one was in the chapter when it was closed - I was was on the alumni board when Greek Affairs recommended expulsion from campus for the hell week debacles (withholding medicine, etc.) - I filed the appeal to the LSU admin. of the expulsion from campus - I (with the LXA president) put on (and won) our case before a the appeal panel composed of one dean, one faculty member, and one student to get us back on campus - within a couple of months of LSU reversing its decision to kick us off campus, national sent emails and letters to all active members to provide the hair samples for drug analysis- nobody submitted samples and the chapter charter was revoked - need anything else?

To add clarity fellas.
Urine test were taken and 98% of the chapter passed. This was during the initial review from the national chapter in 2012ish.
Chapter was trimmed by nationals to a small amount of people. The boys were labeled as “beer monkeys” according to court documents.
Built back up a little before the “withholding medication” bs and that is when nationals required the hair sample, this was obviously done because the urine test they did before did not achieve desired results for the National chapter.
