That is insanely impressive.

Especially impressive for having to have pacemakers for his heart.

What an unbelievable feat! Kipchoge is such a badass. It’s unfathomable what he did.

Didn't Nike spend a lot creating an ideal environment and providing vehicles to draft for the runners last year and couldn't accomplish it?

What an embarrassing site to link from. I hope you dont actually normally ready that Kardashian-style 'news' trash.

From the main page:

That is pretty doggone cool. Humans are amazing. My body shuts down after a 5k and I know I can't go any further. He doesn't even break a sweat after running a 15 minute 5k, a feat I will never in my life come close to accomplishing.

26.2 miles / 2 hours = 13.1 miles per hour.

While ~ 13 mph is not impressive, that ability to do it over distance I think is only done by humans a canines. Since canines have better teeth, claws, hides, and the ability to run on 4 legs it shows the human ability to hunt - to exhaustion - prey without the better natural tools from Mother Nature.

I've run sub 10 minute 2 mile Army PT tests 6 times in my life and each time, I pretty much required a minimum of 24 hours to even feel normal again.

This dude...…...sheesh

That said. I believe the prior world record holder could have run this time with the set up done for this guy. Pace lasers. A cabal of pacers around him to break the breeze. And, a 90% flat course that is almost perfectly straight?

Regardless. Absurd feat

I’ve had wonderful heterosexual relations in less than two hours in Vienna.

Not even near a PB for me.

Srsly, Amazing.

Nike’s main running coach just got busted for doping and EK is highly tied to Nike.
